To get an AC unit that has a start capacitor you're going to want to swap out your Carrier AC for the Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Carrier Setup w/ Start Capacitor # ACCAR135. This will fit exactly where your Carrier fits so you don't have to worry about compatibility, and this comes with the start capacitor.

We unfortunately don't have any start capacitors that we know are compatible with a Carrier Air AC unit.
