Comparing the Yakima Outdoorsman 300 Compact vs Full Size Ladder Racks

Question:

What is the difference between the upright parts of Outdoorsman 300, compact vs full size? I want to be able to use on multiple vehicles, including a trailer.I am not concerned about the bar length. Is one taller than the other?

The difference between the Outdoorsman 300 compact and the full size are the length of the crossbars and the height dimension of the uprights.

The Compact Truck Uprights # Y01136 (half set) are 26-1/2" tall x 16" long at base.
The Full Size Truck Uprights # Y01137 (half set) are 29" tall x 16" long at base.

Then you can just use the crossbars you desire.
