How to Fit Yakima RocketBox 15S on Whispbar S53 Roof Rack System
Question:
I have a Rocketbox 15S cargo box that uses the 8870084 mounting hardware but the hardware doesnt fit between the bottom of my whispbar s53 crossbars and the roof. is there a u-bolt or t-slot style adapters that can be used instead of the current style?

Although it isn't designed for your Yakima RocketBox 15S, you should be able to utilize the Replacement Mounting Hardware # 8870098 for your application. The U-Bolts are 4-1/4" wide so they will fit around the Whispbar S53 crossbars and then you can fit the ends of the U-Bolts through the slit in the bottom of your cargo box and secure them using the plates and knobs.
