Compatible Platform Bike Rack for Jamis Citizen 2 and 2017 Honda CR-V

Question:
I saw the recommendation for the Electra Townie. I have a Jamis Citizen 2 step through and am wondering what you would recommend. I want a platform for stability, but am concerned about securing the frame. I have not had a bike rack/platform before and do have a 2inch hitch for my 2017 CRV. Thanks.

Thanks for the photo and explanation. The low frame on your Jamis Citizen 2 step thru frame can be used with the platform style rack specifically with a wheel mount carrier like the Hollywood Racks TRS SE 2-Bike Platform Rack - 2" Hitches - Tilting - Wheel Mount # HR3500. This carrier will work well with the 2" hitch receiver on your 2017 Honda CR-V.
It features padded, ratcheting hooks on pivoting arms to hold your bike(s) securely by the front wheels, with absolutely no frame contact.
