What are the usage scenarios for the switch and jumper in the li replacement converter?

I spoke to Progressive Dynamics about your question on the # PD4045LICSV and they told me the that basically you have a battery selector switch. Switch to LI for charging lithium batteries. Switch to LA for charging lead acid or AGM batteries.
If the jumper is still on the converters circuit board, do not change the setting….leave the jumper where it is .
