Activating Trailer Wiring Circuits of 2011 Ford Escape with Relays for Install of 4-Way
Question:
I installed the wiring harness for the escape, but my plug doesnt indicate any response to brake, signal or tail lights. I noticed there isnt any fuses in the two panels for the trailer lights. Talking to a Ford parts person, he said I dont need those fuses and relay. Is this true?

We've had a similar question as this before and the solution was to install three of the relays part # TR38665 in the fuse box of your 2011 Ford Escape to activate the trailer wiring circuits so that the 4-way part # 118251 would be functional.
I attached an install video for these relays for you to check on a similar Ford Escape as well.
