Can the Solera Screen Rooms Be Used To Hold Pets Such As Cats and Dogs
Question:
Thinking about getting something like this and reinforcing the bottom so my mom can have a little space outside of her trailer for her cat to have a little outdoor patio area. Does anyone who owns one have any opinions on whether a lazy, unmotivated cat would easily be able to tear this mesh?

The Solera Screen Rooms like part # LC362216 are actually quite popular play pens for animals or so it would appear as I have personally fielded many similar questions of other customers asking to do the same things. The main concern however is not the durability of the mesh for most but rather how to secure the sides to the ground so the animals cannot escape and this can be done pretty easily with just some generic tent stakes.
Unfortunately, I don't have any first hard or much second hand experience with the durability of the mesh. That said, with just normal use and the occasional run-in/claw it should hold-up just fine. I am sure once you get your hands on the material you will be much more confident in its durability.
