Is the vector Thule M waterproof???

The Thule Vector M Rooftop Cargo Box with LEDs part # TH613201 and other Thule boxes like them are designed to help protect your cargo from the elements however they are not waterproof.

There is a possibility if the box is exposed to enough rain or a short period of torrential downpour that water can seep into the box. For this reason Thule does not recommend transporting electronics or any items that absolutely cannot get wet in a cargo box. The boxes are designed with weather seals however If you are carrying cargo like clothing I do recommend to put them in a plastic or ziploc bag before putting them in the box.
