Troubleshooting New Genesis 32CR Toy Hauler Where DVD Player Isnt Showing on TV

Question:

We just purchased a Genesis 32CR Toy Hauler fully loaded with a Furrion DV3300 and a Furrion LED HD TV. When inserting the dvd in Furrion system, it goes right to play mode but none of the sources on the TV show the DVD. Im not sure what the TV should be on to watch the DVD.

Make sure the Furrion television is set in AV mode and not Component and also that they TV and stereo are actually connected. It's possible that the HDMI cable from the # DV3300 was not connected to the TV. It's probably easiest to see if there's an HDMI connection ran on the TV first and then checking the back of the stereo for the connection there as well. From there cycling through the inputs should show the DVD being played.

Also make sure you are inserting a DVD into the player and not a Blu Ray disc which isn't compatible with this stereo. I had to help my parents with a similar issue and it ended up being that my Dad was trying to play a Blue Ray disc through the # DV3300SBL.
