How To Rekey the Lock Core for an Extang EnCore On a Ford Super Duty

I bought a used encore extang tonneau cover for my 2015 Ford F250 Super duty pick up, an dont know how to program the tonneau cover key... please help!!

The lock core that comes with the Extang EnCore Hard Tonneau Covers will be coded to the vehicle's ignition key. This is a one time only setup so it cannot then be recoded to another ignition key. However, if you replace the lock core you can then code it your ignition key. Now, there are two different lock cores for the Extang EnCore depending on when it was made. On the underside of the cover there will be a lot code number on a white sticker. If this number is before "15355" then you will need part # EX6210 but if it is after "15355" then you will need part # EX28620142-28.
