Bulldog Winch # BDW10043 is a great choice when you need a heavy-duty electric winch for an off-road vehicle, but for your gooseneck trailer application we have a similarly-rated model that I recommend instead, Bulldog part # BDW10039.
This winch offers 6-hp, a wireless remote, slightly faster line speed, and a rolling load capacity of 120,000-lbs. The static capacity is still 12K. The winch includes a 100-percent load holding brake and a 90-foot aircraft-grade galvanized steel cable. It is water- and weather-resistant to IP67 specifications so it will stand up. Please note that the recommended battery rating for this winch is 650 CCA (cold cranking amps) in order to get full power from it.
