Question:
Will a standard four pole work on this vehicle..or do I need to use a converter.. It is the standard Cavalier..not an LS.. No amber rear lights.. Thank you

The wiring system on your 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier is a 2-wire system, which means you do not need a wiring harness kit with a converter box. A converter box is only needed if your vehicle would have separate wires for the brake and turn signals.
The Draw-Tite 4-Way Hardwire Kit, part # 18252, will work on your 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier. This is a standard 4-Way wiring kit that will tap into the tail light wires by function. It includes a circuit tester that will allow you to test the wires on your vehicle to find which wire performs which function.
