Troubleshooting Edge Comp Flashing During Acceleration on 2001 Ram Truck

I have 01 3500 dodge Cummins I have a edge drag comp box on it and when it is set on 3 or more it flashes every time I accelerate but it doesnt it It on 2 or lower what could this mean im kinda worried somethings wrong

I spoke with my contact at Edge regarding the issue you are having with the Comp Box # EP30301 on your 2001 Ram truck. He stated that the flashing your experiencing is likely the result of either a bad ground wire connection or power wire connection. Make sure the red wire to the fuse box connection is securely attached to a good 12V circuit (Edge recommends the number 17 fuse inside the fuse panel on the left side of the instrument panel). Then make sure that the ground wire with the ring connector is securely attached to a clean, bare metal surface.
This should resolve the issues you are having when the Comp is set on 3 or more when accelerating.
