Bestop PowerBoard Motorized Running Boards Will Not Retract All the Way
Question:
My running boards on my 2014 Dodge ram 2500 Crew can don’t retract completely in yhe rear on both sides. The front retracts completely in the front on both sides an both sides extend all the way. What can I do to fix?

I spoke to a technical support contact at Bestop and they informed me that in order to have both sides of the Bestop PowerBoard Motorized Running Boards with LED Lights part # B7514315 on your 2014 Ram 2500 fully retract, you are going to have to install two washer on the front of the boards where the board attaches to the linkage. To do this you are going to first loosen the 2 front allen bolts. Once they are loose you can then install the washers and tighten the allen bolts back down. This will pull the back end of the boards up so they are even with the front.
