Recommended H1 Headlight Bulb for a Projector Housing

Question:

I have a 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 that I have recently upgraded to aftermarket projector low beam and reflector high beam headlights. They came with 55w H1 halogen bulbs for both projectors and reflectors. When I type in Best H1 Led for projectors, the P3000H1 by Putco comes up, however it is no where to be found on the Putco website. Are these actually available and designed to emit just as much light or more and in the right place as my halogens? Thanks,

Generally speaking, LED bulbs do not work well in a projector housing. This has to do with the direction the bulbs project the light. LED bulbs are more or less designed to be used in a reflective headlight housing. However there are some LED's like the Putco Optic 360 # P2500H1W that will work well due to their 360 degree light.
