Question:

For your third brake light on your 1975 Dodge Dart, I recommend the Putco PURE Replacement LED Third Brake Light - smoke lens # P920266 but it will be a custom mount as there isn't a replacement option. Then you will want to splice in the Putco LED Light Bulb Load-Resistor Kit - Aluminum # P230004A because these lights do not have the integrated resistor. If the stop light signal you will be splicing into has a combined stop and turn, then you will need to isolate the stop light signal for the 3rd brake light using the Vehicle to Vehicle Tail Light Converter # C56196. Instead of the clear lens or smoke lens with the red LEDs, you can also use a red lens with clear LEDs like the Optronics Sealed, Streamline LED Trailer Third Brake Light, 1-Function, 11 Super Diodes # STL80RB. This is 17 inches long by 1 inch deep. If you wanted to stay closer to the look of the 1975 Dodge Dart you can use any incandescent bulb tail light or clearance light with a red lens.
