I reached out to my contact at Valterra, and the Rope Light Trak Dual Utility Track for RV Awnings - 18' # A30-0600 along with the Valterra Mini Rope Light for RV Awning Utility Slot - LED # A30-0625VP should be removed after each use before rolling your awning back up. It is possible to roll it into the awning, but it will not give you a smooth roll and may cause damage to the awning or the track.
