For your 1991 Volvo 240, there is only one hitch available and it is not a Class III. This is most likely due to the vehicle weight capacities given by the manufacturer that would limit the hitch capacity. I know you were specifically looking for that 2 inch receiver, but the Class II with the 1-1/4 inch receiver is all that is available as a fit. If you want a trailer hitch receiver on this vehicle, you will want the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class II - 1-1/4" # C12207 as this is the only confirmed fit.
If you need a 2 inch hitch, you can use an adapter like the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Adapter - 1-1/4" (Class II) to 2" - 6" Long # C45785.
