Do Replacement Tires for Cycle Mate Trailer Need to be Balanced
Published 04/07/2017 >
Question:
Going to order the Kendra K371 4.80 tires to replace the originals on our 2007 Cycle Mate CM 2000 LTD trailer. Should the new tires be balanced after install? If so, what would be the recommended method? Thanks so much for your time.

The Kenda K371 Trailer Tire # AM10004 can be balanced but it isn't necessary to balance them like vehicle tires, however they can be if you'd like.
The tire and wheel combos that we sell are balanced by lining up the light spot on the tire with the heavy spot on the wheel. This is a type of balancing often used for trailer tires.
