Visibility of Trailer Hitch on 2011 Mercedes E550 Convertible

Question:
I am considering a trailer hitch for my 2011 Mercedes E550 Convertible. It is a good looking car and Im wondering how much of the hitch will be visible when only the receiver is in place, but not the ball-mount and ball? Will the receiver alone extend out beyond the face of the bumper? Is there anything else you can tell me regarding the appearance or do you have any photos which would allow me to see how it will look on the car or a similar application? Thank you.

For your 2011 Mercedes E550 convertible we have the Curt hitch part # C11340 that is a confirmed fit.
I can understand not wanting a visible hitch at the rear of such a nice looking car. The best thing I can show you is the picture that is attached that shows the hitch installed on a vehicle very similar to yours for you to check out and decide if that's what you would be okay with. Most people won't notice it.
