Will the Edge Evolution Programmer for Ford Triton V8 4.6L and 5.4L Work On My 1999 F-150 5.4L XLT?

Question:

Would this programmer #EP15051 work on my 1999 f150 5.4 XLT or would I be outta luck. Also would it work with my cold air intake. I like this one because I could use it with one of the dash pods that makes it look it came factory with it. Any help would be great thanks!!!

The good news is that programmers are made for specific models and specific years and I do have a couple tuners that will fit your 1999 Ford F-150 5.4L XLT and will work with your cold air intake. The Superchips Dashpaq Performance Tuner - 2.4" Color Screen - Gas - Ford # SU1060, has a 2.4 inch color screen and will help you show gains in both horsepower and torque.

The other tuner is the Edge Gas Evolution CS2 Performance Tuner, # EP85350. This is very similar to the Supechip Dashpq.

The not so good news is that the Edge Evolution model that has the mounting pod, # EP15051, that you asked about is only a fit for the 2004-2008 Ford F-150 Triton with 4.6L and 5.4 L V8 Engines.
