I looked up the 2009 Ford F-150 owner's manual and found the fuse and relay locations related to trailer lights.

There is only one in the in-cab fuse panel in location 33 for a brake controller. The rest are under the hood in the power distribution box.

Under the hood location 6 is the trailer parking lamp relay
Location 9 is the trailer battery charge relay
Location 17 is another brake controller fuse
Location 21 is the fuse for the trailer battery charge circuit
Location 31 is the fuse for the parking lamp relay
Locations 37 and 38 are fuses for trailer brake lights and turn signals
Location 45 is the relay feed for the brake lights and turn signals
Location 54 is the battery charge relay
Location 58 is for trailer back up lights
Location 82 is the CHMSL; also related to a factory brake controller

On your 2009 Ford F-150 Platinum 4x4, the running lights (also known as parking lights) are in two locations so you will need to check both. The first is under the hood in location 6 and the other is location 31 of your main fuse box. If your fuses are good, I recommend testing the wires with a circuit tester because if you have a short after the fuses that is the only way to find it. Also I recommend checking the ground at each tail light as that sometimes will interrupt trailer light functions. Remove the ground, use some sand paper to clean the location and reattach to bare metal.
