Can Fixed Legs Replace Slider on Curt Q20 Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch

Question:
Hi, I have a Curt 20K fifth wheel hitch. I want to bye new legs for it. Can I use the Curt Accessories and Parts - C16904 for this hitch ? I currently have the roller kit on it, but my trailer sets way to high. Plus I never use the roller anyways. Thank you for your time, and any info you may supply me.

You can certainly replace the R20 Slider # C16550 on your Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch with Slider # C16541 with fixed legs.
The part number you referenced, the Curt Replacement Leg Kit for Q20 5th Wheel hitch # C16904, is the correct kit to replace the legs of your Q20 hitch. This kit includes the hardware needed to install the replacement legs.
Since your 2004 Chevrolet Silverado has an 8 foot bed, you should not have any issues with turning clearance using a fixed hitch over a slider hitch.
