Question:
I asked a question yesterday about the Thule Aeroblades 7602 with fit kit 3142 and your response was that I had the correct parts. The question I still need help with is, as you can see in the picture in your response to me yesterday, where the hex bolt screws into the track. The bolt cannot get flush with the rails. So my question is will that not cause water and debris to leak in roof due to the bolt not being flush with rail? Thanks for your help!

There are two variations of the flush rails on the 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. If the rails have a stainless steel strip that runs down the bars you have the Group E Laredo package and would need the Thule part numbers # TH7602-TH7602, and # THKIT3142. This roof rack setup does require threading an allen bolt through a bracket into the channel of the rack. I attached a picture that shows how all of the pieces should look when assembled and torqueing everything down. Without seeing a picture of your setup it is hard for me to determine exactly what could be wrong.
If there is no chrome section then you instead would need the part numbers # TH711520, # TH480R, and # THKIT1656. It doesn't sound like this is what you have but I figured I would mention it just in case.
