You might be able to replace a 235/65-17 with a 245/65-17 tire. The tires you have now, 235/65-17, are about 9.25 inches wide and 29 inches tall. The 245s on the other hand are 9.65 inches wide and 29-1/2 inches tall.

On vehicles, especially newer vehicles, there is very little space to go to a larger tire without making other modifications. Based on the differences in the tire sizes listed above you should be able to determine if there is enough space to use the slightly larger size.

You will need to check with your local mechanic or tire shop. There is a possibility of a transmission issue, premature wear issues, and alignment issues if you were to change the tire size without confirming the fit with your local shop. Those sizes aren't very different so I don't assume there would be an issue, but recommend you check. If you were looking at our tires, they won't work for you. We only carry trailer tires (ST) and you would need passenger tires (P). The tires are made completely differently so they can't be swapped out without other issues.

For vehicle tire swaps it's best to check your Terrain's owner's manual. The manual should list compatible tire sizes.
