Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar Installation - 2013 Chevrolet Express Van

Today on this 2013 Chevrolet Express Van we're going to install part number RM-1109-175. To make things a little easier we went ahead and lifted up the van by the frame. To make things easier to see and do we've already went ahead and lifted the van by the frame. You could do this on the ground but you would have to lift up the axle and remove your tires to do this. Now first up to go ahead and enlarge these holes on the shock bracket on the axle up to a half an inch. At this point we're almost ready to install a sway bar. This bracket or this reinforcement gets installed right here.

Michelin Stealth Wiper Blades Installation - 2013 Chevrolet Express Van

Today in the 2013 Chevrolet Express van we're going to install part number MCH8022 from Michelin. A couple things to know about the Stealth Wiper Blade is that the rounded shape keeps it aerodynamic, or prevents the wiper from being lifted by the wind. Also, the blade itself has a graphite coating that helps keep a quiet wiping action. To start off, go ahead and remove the original wiper blades. There's a small button right here that's typical that you push in or pull down to release it from the arm. Then we can install our new wiper blade.

2013 Chevrolet Express Van Questions and Answers

  • How to Install Rola Platypus Rooftop Cargo Bag # 59100 on 2013 Chevrolet Express Van
  • The Rola Platypus Rooftop Cargo Bag # 59100 that you referenced installs on a vehicle using its 8 built-in strap attachments. If the vehicle has a roof rack or roof side rails the straps will attach to these points; if it has a roof cargo basket then the straps can be attached to the basket. If your Express has a naked roof (without any hardware) then there are other similar soft cargo bags that can mount directly to the van without need for a roof rack or basket. The link provided will...

  • Need to Locate Stoplight Switch Wire on 2013 Chevrolet Express Van When Installing Brake Controller
  • The correct wire that you will need when installing the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller, # 90195, on your 2013 Chevrolet Express Van is actually located behind the passenger side dash. This is the location of the Body Control Module (BCM) on the Express Van. In order to access the BCM, you will need to remove the lower section of the dash on the passenger side of the vehicle. You will need the light blue with white stripe wire that is coming out of the brown connector. Before...

  • Tire Chains for Use on a 2013 Chevy Express Van with 245/75-16 Tires
  • For a one time, week long trip to Colorado Springs I would just go with some cable style chains, # PW2021C with rubber adjusters # PW99. The cables are no a big investment and it sounds like you will only need them a short time anyway so the cables are a good way to go. I have included a link to a video showing a typical installation for you. I recommend doing a test fit once you get the chains so you are familiar with the process ahead of time. Being stuck on the side of the road in...

  • Tire Chain Recommendations for a 2012 or 2013 Chevy Express 15 Passenger Van
  • I went by a 2013 Chevy Express Van and put it through our fit guide to find chains. There are two tire size options listed, 245/70-17 and 245/75-16. I will provide some recommendations for each size for you. First for the 245/70-17 if you plan on infrequent use then going with a set of cables, # PW3010C, with rubber adjusters # PW99 would be the way to go. Cables are great if you seldom need chains and/or live in an area where chains are not required by law. For frequent use and/or...

  • Trailer Wiring Recommendation for a 2013 Chevy Express Van
  • What I would recommend you get is a Curt Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring # 55540. This wiring kit plugs inline with the tail lights of your vehicle and will activate the trailer lights of your small trailer. Curt has determined that you do not necessarily need a powered unit like the Hopkins Converters # 46255 or # 46365 and since your trailer only has two lights on it I think the # 55540 would work well for you. The main difference between the # 46255 and the # 46365 is that the # 46365...
