Will Kuat Sherpa Hitch-Mount Bike Rack # S101 Work With Bike Having 43-3/4-Inch Wheelbase

The Kuat Sherpa has a stated maximum wheelbase of 44.5. I have a 700c Trek Verve 2 with a wheelbase of 43.7inch Will that be too tight? Will I have difficulty mounting or securing the bike?

Your Trek Verve 2 bike with a wheelbase of 43.7-inches will work on the Kuat Sherpa as long as the bikes wheel size does not exceed the maximum allowable 29-inches. The wheelbase together with the wheel diameter will determine the fit. Please refer to the linked video for additional information.
I could not find a bike weight figure for your bike, so you will want to verify that it does not exceed the 40-lb-per-bike limit for the Sherpa.
