For a muffler, the size of the model that comes with the MagnaFlow exhaust for a 2011 Scion tC measures 5 inches tall, 8 inches wide, and 20 inches long overall with a 14 inch long body. It also has 2-1/4 inch inlet/outlets. A muffler like # MF14235, has these dimensions.

Compare these measurements to what is required on your tC to determine fit. These mufflers are designed as universal fit items. They do make quite a few different sizes but they may not be an exact match.

what inletoutlet measurements are the 2013 scion tc? i want to buy a magnaflow or borla muffler and im confused as to which one would fit and if a larger outlet would work and be of any benefit.your advise would be greatly appreciated.

Going with a larger outlet would also require you to replace any exhaust components to the rear of the muffler to accommodate the larger outlet. Individual mufflers are designed as universal items. You will need to measure the pipe going in and out of your muffler to determine which muffler will fit. Most OEM exhaust systems are not slip-fit/clamp mufflers, so the pipe will need to be cut to remove the OEM muffler, and an aftermarket muffler will need to be welded in by a professional. Changing only the muffler will not significantly or noticeably alter the performance of the vehicle. It will only change the sound of the exhaust.
