What Size Thule AeroBlade Load Bars Fit a 2011 BMW X5
Question:
Recommended crossbar length for 2011 BMW X5 seem to be 53inch model based on Thule fit guide. But I measured my raised roof rails and they span just under 47. Can I get away with 47inch crossbars so that they dont jut out the sides visually less obtrusive, but is it safe? I intend to use a roof cargo box.

The Thule AeroBlade bars, # THARB53, need to be able to reach from one side of the vehicle to the other and have enough space to safely attach to the Rapid Aero Crossroad feet, # TH450R. Bars that are less than 53 inches will not fit. The 53 inch bars have been determined to be the best, safest fit for a 2011 BMW X5.
