Recommend a Snow Plow for a 2010 Ford Expedition with Front Hitch

Question:

I have a 700 foot driveway with one 90 degree turn and wonder if I can easily plow the driveway with the straight snowsport 180 snowplow or is it better to upgrade to the A40000HD snow plow? I have a front hitch on a ford expedition without the snow plow package. Thanks

With a driveway that is 230 plus yards long and a 90 degree turn, I think you would be glad that you spent the extra money on the SnowSport HD Utility Snowplow, # A40000HD. Angling the blade will allow you to make fewer passes and keep you from backing up and going forward a number of times. It will also allow you to make your turn with relative ease and not leave a large pile of snow at the middle to latter part of the turn.

If your area gets light snowfall then the SnowSport 180 Snowplow, # A40082, would be a great choice. You could Plow straight to the other side of the 90 degree turn then plow from the turn to the end of the drive.

I have linked a video review for the SnowSport HD Utility Snowplow, # A40000HD.
