Compatibility of the Curt 2 Bike Platform Rack to Carry a Womens Bike
Question:
I have been looking at this product, to go along with your trailer hitch. Curt 2 Bike Platform Rack - 1-1/4inch and 2inch Hitches - Frame Mount - Tilting Curt Hitch Bike Racks Code: C18084inch How does this mount a womens bike? I have to use a womensfoot bike since I can not throw my leg over a mans bike. Also, I can not lift, a bike up on top of the car. Let me know, if you would pleast.

The Curt 2 Bike Platform Bike Rack, # C18084, uses cushioned sliding hooks to mount to the frame of the bike.
These hooks will allow you to mount your women's bike on the Curt bike rack. The hook will slide down tight against the bike's frame to secure the bike to the mount. I have attached a picture of this bike rack with a women's bike mounted on the rack for you review.
Also, depending on the model of trailer hitch you have installed on your 2013 Subaru Impreza, you may also need a stabilization strap to secure your bike and rack to the hitch. Curt has # 18050 available to provide extra support. You will need to consult the hitches owner's manual to see if a stabilization strap is recommended on non-towing applications.
