Length of the Legs on the U-Bolt part # SR050059

Question:

Looking for the exact dimension of this. The width of 4 inches is perfect, however need to know the clearance of the bolt. From apex of curve to tip of thread plane if that makes sense. The comparison bolt smooth arc shows 2inch clearance. This looks like it could be more which is what I need. Please let me know at your earliest convenience. Regards,

I spoke to my contact at Sportrack and she informed me that the length of just the leg of the U-Bolt part # SR050059 that you referenced is right at 3 inches.
