Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the Curt Four Inch Offset Ball for the Curt Double Lock Gooseneck Hitches. Now what happens when you need to pull a gooseneck trailer that has an especially long front over hang, well without the right amount of clearance between the overhang and your truck cab, tight corners can get to be a little tough. This Curt Double Lock Gooseneck Offset Ball will easily slide into any double lock gooseneck hitch and it sets your coupling point four inches back of the original trailer ball hole.The offset gooseneck trailer ball secures in place just like any other compatible gooseneck ball, using the double lock's dual pin locking system. Again, this extension will provide four inches of additional space between your truck's cab and your gooseneck trailer. The ball itself is chrome plated. The base is a durable black powder coat finish.
And again, this item is designed for use in the Curt's double lock gooseneck hitches. The part is made in the USA, the ball size, the gooseneck ball is a standard two and five-sixteenths diameter. Again the offset, which we measure from where it goes in to the hole to the center of the gooseneck ball, is going to be right at four inches. Weight capacity on this is 20,000 pounds. Not bad to install I really like the Curt hitch and offset ball, great price fast shiping would not hesitate to buy from etrailer again. The offset ball helped a lot, I didn't think I would be able to leave tool box on truck but had plent of clearance.
Gave me enough added turning radius that maneuvering my 5th wheel became so much better when backing into those tight camping site. Excellent quality and have recommended this to many of my camping buddies
Product is great but shipping was terrible, box delivered was tore to pieces. All shipping receipts was gone, didn’t have to even open the box because 3 out of 4 sides were tore open. Literally looked like the box fell out of the truck going down the road.

This is for my 4' square hole trailer hitch extension. I love the fact that I can turn my trailer without breaking the back window. I had never seen a square hole before and this item came that way. I only wish they did one 6"-8" longer. But so far so good.
Everything installed as advertised. Did all on my own just take your time and you will be fine also. 2006 duramax crew cab use for horse trailer and flatbed gooseneck.
I sold my pick up and never used it. I still have it and I really like that it would of made my trailer not hit the tail gate with I was hooking up my fifth wheel.
The hitch is made really well and seems to be heavier than the b&w one I had in another truck. The offset makes it easier to pull a gooseneck trailer with my shortbed truck and gives me a better turning radius.
Excellent solution! Installed on 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab. Now I won't hit cab of truck with 5th wheel camper!

The Curt goose neck hitch is a great product built very well. etrailer was a pleasure to work with delivering the product to my doorstep on time and complete. I would definitely use them again in the future.

It works great and really glad I bought it with my shortened truck
I usually pull my trailers with a long wheelbase truck but my newest truck is a short bed. The hitch is too far forward but this works perfect pulling the horse trailer.
Needed a little more room for the square front on the trailer. I was surprised how much sharper I can turn comfortably with only 4 inches more set back. Shopping on etrailer sight was easy and enjoyable.

The hitch fit like it was supposed to. It has load limits on the hitch and the ball so you cannot forget it. I like that.
