Tons of room and looks great! This bag is awesome! Plenty of room to store suitcases for a family of four plus a couple of large boxes. The tie-down straps kept the bag well secured. I haven't been through any major rainshowers yet with the bag, but the light rain and snow flurries we have encountered rolled right off and everything stayed dry inside. The zippers can be a lillte bit of a challenge when getting them around the corners, but other than that the bag will zip up with relative ease.4693

Ladies, this bag is perfect for just throwing stuff in, strapping it down, and hitting the road! My husband is in the Army, so when our 2 cats and I make the long 1200 mile trip back home by ourselves to visit our family, this bag is an easy way for me to pack our stuff up and not have to worry about strapping it down correctly. The bag is thick and waterproof so you know it won't rip/tear and you know your stuff won't get soaked if you encounter rain on your trip. I purchased this to use as a water-proof storage container for the back of my truck when my family goes on trips to put our luggage in. This thing was AWESOME!. It fits perfectly into the bed of my 2010 GMC Sierra. It held all our lugage, plus some. It kept everything dry (and we went through some bad weather) and was easy to fold-up and put under the back seat when not in use! The construction was superb. It is made of very thick material. All the clasps and seams are triple stitched and very strong. I will definitely be recommending this to others!10360

A good ordering experience! Not only were the items packaged all together and shipped promptly, shipping information was provided ASAP, and easy to track to delivery. While I haven't actually used the carrier, I can say that assembly was a snap. I strongly recommend inventorying carrier hardware before starting assembly, so that the procedure is pretty much intuitive once you begin. Also, I'd recommend putting tape or something over the 8 bolts that afix the logo plates, to prevent vibration damage to the fabric carrier bag, if used. Light kit installation was equally simple.7865

24x60 cargo rack I received expidited shipping for my purchase which was unexpected and great. I just finshed assembly and everything went together with no problems. The cargo carrier bag looks nicer and more water proof than I expected but haven't had it out in the elements as yet. We also purchased and installed the light kit which installs very easily, but as others have note, the wire harness is too short, ie. will not reach the plug on the vehicle. A $5.00 extension (18") from Walmart was an easy remedy. All in all I am very pleased and would definatley reccomend. 5182

Purchased this for an upcoming trip out west. Was a little concerned about the size. Some of the images of the bag sitting on a rack mounted on a vehicle make it look too big. In addition to the bag, also ordered a 60x24 hitch mount carrier (63253) and the light kit (20174). All products came shipped in the same box and arrived when promised (2 days). So far, have not had any real world experience with it but I am happy with the purchase. The material looks like it will hold up well. The bag's construction looks heavy duty. We did load some luggage into it to see how much room we will have. We should be able to get 6 suitcases and maybe a duffel bag or two in it. So happy I did not go with the smaller size. I purchased this cargo bag before Christmas to make a 945 mile trip to visit family. I fit 4 suit cases (1 Large, 1 Medium, & 2 Small) and 3 duffles and 3 winter coats. I still had some room for more coats. It rained for 6 of the 14 hour trip. It work very well with no water getting in the bag and no wind drag as it was on a hitch rack behind the Tahoe. It folded away and stored easily in a small duffle while not in use. My brother and father were impressed with the amount of gear it handled and may be purchasing for themselves. I will definitely recommend this bag to anyone looking for a simple cost effective solution to carry luggage without putting a box on the top of your vehicle....which will cost more $$$ and more gas. I purchased this to use for weatherproof storage in a truck bed (when space allows) as well or hitch mounted cargo tray. I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but the construction looks better than I was expecting. Heavy duty all around and much better than the cargo bags I saw at the local sporting goods stores. Unless it leaks (I doubt it will based on the zipper design), I'm extremely happy with the purchase. Beyond the actual product, I have to say that ETrailer was the best online buying experience yet. I ordered on a Sunday afternoon, received an automated order confirmation email right away, another email within an hour letting me know that the product was in-stock at their distribution facility and should ship the following morning. This cargo carrier bag is plenty big enough for my upcoming travel plans which includes seven women traveling with suitcases. I can't image that we would not have enough room between this cargo carrier bag and the back of our Nissan Pathfinder. The bag itself is quite roomy and very solid in construction. It comes with strapes that attach to the bag and then around the carrier supports. I choose this large carrier bag to replace a damaged Everthere carrier bag. This one fit the Everthere carrier (actually it is a bit larger than the actual carrier), one of the few that would. The strapping system worked well, the system included clasp devices if your carrier doesn't have holes in the side rails (mine did so I didn't need the clasps, but they are included). The strapping attachment to the bag was very heavy duty and didn't show any sign of stress when the straps were pulled tight. We went through some very heavy thunderstorms with torrential rain and everything inside stayed completely dry. 53793

This bag is bomber proof. Have taken on two different long camping trips (1,500 miles of driving) through rain, highway, dirt roads and 105 degree + desert temps and it's been fantastic. Purchased for the 20" deep rack and it works fine. Tie downs keep everything in place. Can fit an ENORMOUS amount of gear inside. I keep the cooler and food in the Suburban and use this for tents, duffles, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, etc. The zipper is heavy duty, the bag has an over flap that covers the zipper with Velcro fasteners to keep it down. All gear arrives at destination dry and clean. On a 2009 Suburban, with the 20" x 60" rack, there is no concern on tailpipe exhaust/heat hurting the bag. Highly recommend.51802

I used the bag on our summer trip to the beach. It worked out perfect. During the ride up, it held all of our beach stuff and cooler on our trail hitch cargo carrier. Once we were at our hotel, I moved the bag into the back of our station wagon to prevent our beach stuff from getting sand all over the car. The straps held the unit firmly to the cargo carrier. i drove from mississippi to new hampshire and had some real bad rain storms and wind .when we got to our destination every thing was dry and it didn t move the whole trip.all i did was check the tie downs .if ever needed i would buy this again.and will be telling my family and friends to buy this item for traveling19608

I ordered this item to protect our luggage for a trip to DIsney. The material is an excellent heavy gauge vinyl and has a Velcro lip that goes over the zipper area. The only problem is this product is larger than the grate we planned to attach it to so we have to modify the grate to protect the product from tears.16242

The cargo carrier bag seems to be excellent quality. I haven't had a chance to use it yet so can't comment on the durability or water resistance of the bag but it has a thick, tough, rubber-like coating and looks like it should hold up well. I can, however, comment on the quality of service provided by etrailer.com. Several months ago I ordered a replacement grille for my truck from them. That purchase and this recent one have made me a loyal customer. Both items were shipped immediately and arrived sooner than I expected. Tracking information is available on their website that even includes a little map showing the progress of the package across the country, something I've never seen from any other on-line distributor. Prices are competetive and I have a high level of confidence in the knowledge and integrity of the people at etrailer. I highly recommend this company. 13899

Liked the bag, but BE CAREFUL about placement. On the Honda Odyssey Hidden hitch, the carrier placed the bag directly behind the tailpipe and the heat melted that corner of the bag.17565
