Everyone, Shane here etrialer.com. Today I have a 2018 Chevrolet Volt. I'm going to walk you how to install the ClearPlus Intelli Curve Windshield Wiper Blades. This is what our wiper blades are gonna look like when they're installed. They're going to be a direct replacement for the factory winter wiper blades. However, these are going to give you a lot better options.

One, we're going to have a graphite coating on the rubber in here. This is going to help it glide across the glass much easier. It's going to be rigid in the center, flexible along the outside this will help to conform to different shaped windshields. You'll notice it's going to have a rubber cover here over the Hinges. That is not only to help protect the hinges from any dirt or debris or anything like that, but you'll notice the angle on it.

As the wind blows over top of the hood, hits the winter wiper blade, the way this is shaped, that wind is going to deflect off the windshield wiper blade, however, it's going to put pressure down on the winter wiper blade to keep pressure on the windshield or on the glass. This is going to help with consistent, clean swipes getting water off your windshield. The blades are going to come with the adapters to get them installed. Keep in mind, they're only going to come as one blade. However, with this vehicle, wiping blades are going to be the same size.

You're just gonna use the same part number to get the second one. As you can see these work really well to clear the water off the glass, really smooth. We didn't have any chattering or skipping across the glass and I'll be going over some of the features walk through how to get them installed. To start your installation, it's always a good idea to have a piece of cardboard something underneath so when you take your windshield wiper blade off, this arm being metal, if it happened to fall down, it doesn't break your windshield. To remove these, simply push on this button here, then we'll slide them out.

To install the new ones, it's going to come with this little bracket on it. We need to take that off. Simply just push on it to remove it. You're going to have a couple of different brackets and fittings. You're going to need the one with this end on it, and you're going to just going to remove this piece. You're gonna need this piece, we're gonna take it, we're going to slide it on here like this. We're going to take it and slide it in the arm like that. Then we'll take our new windshield wiper blade and snap it into place. Once you get one side done, you repeat the process on the other. That's going to do it for looking at an installation on a ClearPlus Winter Wiper Blades on a 2018 Chevrolet Volt..
