Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today I'm gonna take a look at these Hellwig Load Pro 35 heavy duty helper springs with the custom mounting kit. Now, this is a custom-fit part. It is designed to fit the 2011 to 2019 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 and 3500H heavy-duty trucks, and on a custom fit part like this, I like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show if this will work for your application. Now, this is a Load Pro 35 spring set, features a nice full-time spring rate design, which is ideal for vehicles or fleet applications that consistently carry a heavy load day in and day out.

The full-time spring rate on these adjust to the load on your vehicle for a nice and improved ride, but it won't affect your ride while it's unloaded. One note I do want to mention, if your vehicle's equipped with a brake fluid proportioning valve, this constant rate spring is not recommended. Only progressive rate helper springs should be used. Now, these custom helper springs upgrade your factory leaf springs to reduce sway and body roll. They'll prevent sagging when you're towing or hauling heavy loads, which will extend the life of your factory suspension, tires and brakes.

Each spring uses four helper leaf springs, which will flex with the factory leaf springs to limit bouncing while providing optimal stability. They're very easy to install. They'll bolt above your factory leaf springs. As you can see, I hung the mounting kit on here just to show you how it installs. The drivers' and the passenger sides can be adjusted independently for uneven loads.

The custom installation kit does include zinc-plated hardware. Now, one note, if your vehicle is equipped with a factory contact overload, it may need to be removed before installing these helper springs. I would recommend to please consult the installation guide. These are a durable steel construction. They ensure long lasting performance.

One thing I wanted to mention to zoom in on is they do use a nice silver-vein hammer tone finish on it, which is a powder coat finish, helps resist corrosion and besides makes it looks very good also. These parts are made in the USA. A few specs on this, the weight capacity is 3,500 pounds.
