Today we're going to be taking a look at the K-Source replacement side mirror for the driver's side of your vehicle. This product fits certain years and model of the Chevrolet Avalanche, Suburban, Tahoe, and Silverado. It also fits certain years and models of the GMC Yukon, Yukon XL, and GMC Sierra. Now this side view mirror is a direct replacement for the driver's side factory mirror on your vehicle. It's modeled after the manufacturer's original look and fit. It does feature power remote capability.
That way you can adjust the mirror face position by using the factory power controls from inside the vehicle, and it does feature the heated mirror glass that's going to do a great job at clearing frost and ice and reduced fogging. Located on the end we're going to have the red LED arrow in the mirror face that lights up when the turn signal's activated. It's a high intensity LED system that's much brighter than standard turn signal lights. It's going to feature an OE grade flat glass with first surface plating to reflect clear images, so the front of the glass is plated with a reflective chrome and then the flat lens provides true representation of the object size, and it is going to feature a break away design so if the mirror is struck from the front or from the back it will fold to help deter breakage. inaudible 00:01:16 that nice durable black plastic housing, and then up on this portion here it's got the chrome finish. It's an easy no drill installation. It's going to use your same footprint and mounting points as your factory mirror.
It's going to come with the three mounting studs and then each stud is going to come with a mounting nut, and then the mirror will plug into the existing electrical wiring. Please keep in mind that the power remote capability, heated glass, and LED turn signal of the mirror will work only if your vehicle is already equipped with those functions, and this mirror does not have a puddle lamp and it does not support the memory, auto dimming, or power folding functions.
