Video Transcript for Review of Risk Racing Motorcycle Tie Down Straps - Trailer - Truck Bed - RR52TP

Hello etrailer fans. I'm Steven. And today we're looking at the Risk Racing Lock and Load Pro HD strapless dirt bike transport system for your trailer or truck bed. Now this is rated a 400 pounds. It does fit bike width from 12 inch to 21 inches. It fits foot peg heights from 10 and a half to 15 and a half inches.

It's gonna fit most Trail, MX, and Enduro bikes or bikes with similar geometry. Now this guy is 21 inches wide, eight inches long and 12 inches tall when it's compressed like this. Now the weight of this is only a light 14.2 pounds, has a nice one year warranty. Now why do you need this guy Well, your dirt bike transport system will secure your bike with the jaws that are gonna clamp down on your foot peg. So I'm gonna go ahead and spin this around real quick so you can get a better look of the jaws.

Let me zoom in as well. So the jaws here, they're gonna clamp down, again on the foot pegs, and they're gonna hold your bike without the need for tie down straps, floor anchors, or the wheel chocks. They basically reduce pressure on your fork seals and they're gonna help distribute pressure to the front and rear suspension of your bike. And now as I mentioned, they fit a wide range of different bikes with fully adjustable ratchet system. So I wanna show you that ratchet system.

It's pretty nice, pretty slick, easy to do. So yeah, let's start sideways. So first off, to adjust this way simply, you pull the lever, you can go five different slots. And when you turn this back, it'll automatically lock down when you hit that first hole. So if you want to go up more than one hole, just put it where you want, lock it down.

Now on the back there are numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 here and you can basically know what number you set yours at, once you do it the first time. Now you see these levers back here, you simply loosen them and all you do is push down and spring load it, it's gonna pop up and then to tighten it down, you push them back down. You just push it down again onto the foot pegs. It goes as little as you want or all the way. Pretty dang simple. So again, I'm gonna show you a sideways view of that. So again, red lock up, push down, spring loads up and you can see from the back all those ridges. Once I engage, once you flip that back down, it'll engage. There you go, you can hear it clicking. So again, pretty slick operation. It's gonna set everything nice and tight. And again, the fact that you can slide these in and out, just make it so much more easier as far as adjustability and that kind of thing. So again, really simple design, really simple operation, Easy, right So again, that ratchet system allows you to quickly load and unload the bike with a simple switch release that I was touching there. Now it does have rubber jaws on the pads rather on the jaws and that's gonna help protect the bike and everything as well so you don't get scratches, that kind of stuff. Now, like I said, it does install in your trailer, van, or truck bed, drilling is required. It comes with the included hardware you need. You got lock nuts, washers, long bolts and some screws there as well. Now everything's been coated so it's not gonna rust, corrode, that kind of stuff. It's gonna give you a nice longevity as far as that goes. Now you can remove the posts quickly by simply removing these knob, loosen those knobs and they literally just slide out. And then after that, this plate is the only thing that would then stay in the bed of your truck or your van or wherever you have it and kinda give you a back view of that. And you can see all them slots there that's matching up with the slots here. So very simple operation, just slide them in. Of course you're gonna have the spring. There you go. Boom. So again, really simple design, really simple to quickly use and operate and you can get your bike safely secure and then boom on the road right away. So very nice setup, I think. Now you can also stagger the mount to avoid handlebar interference if you're hauling more than one bike. So again, you can buy as many of these as you need to and put safely in your vehicle. Now it is a very nice high quality, durable, rustproof aluminum so you don't have to worry about it rotting or corrode or anything like that. Again, a nice one year warranty. Super nice, cool product, I think. I'm Steve with etrailer.com. Thank you so much for your time. Thanks for watching. I hope it helps you out with your decision. Stay safe out there on the trails.
