  • What Are Mounting Puck Dimensions of Demco Hijacker UMS Series Gooseneck Trailer Hitch
I appreciate you getting me the picture of your dimensions but it's not totally clear exactly what you have dimensionall. Instead check out the picture I attached that shows the dimensions of the mounts on the Demco # DM5988 that you referenced. What is the year/make/model of the truck? It looks like a factory rail kit from Ford, GM, or Dodge but I'd need to know what you have to be sure.

  • Handles on Ford OEM 5th Wheel Hitch Will Not Close with Pucks on a 2008 Ford F-250/350
The factory puck system was not offered on Ford trucks until 2011 so what you have is likely the older Reese Signature Series which is very similar. However, as you have come to find out the old Reese Signature Series pucks are not the same as the new Reese Elite Series pucks which is why you are having issues. Unfortunately, they do not make any adapters or new bolts for this so your best option would be to obtain the Reese Elite Series Underbed Mounting System, part # RP30073. This will...

  • Is There a Gooseneck Adapter that Fits Reese Elite Underbed Rails of 2006 Ford F-250
Yes, the Elite Rail Kit adapter part # RP30845 does fit the Reese Elite rail kit part # RP30073 that you referenced. This adapter has a 25k capacity as well. The underbed rail kit part # RP30073 is the correct rail kit for your 2006 Ford F-350 as well but it sounds like you have that already installed.

  • How to Easily Add Ford OEM Fifth Wheel Rail Kit to 2017 F-250/350 Without It
Since Reese is actually who makes the Ford OEM fifth wheel rail kits the correct underbed rail kit you'd need for your 2017 Ford F-250 is the part # RP87FR and you'd be set. This will give you the exact same kit as if you had ordered the truck with the rail kit. With this kit installed you can use the B and W Companion hitch part # BWRVK3300 that you referenced as well.

  • Adapters to Allow Towing Gooseneck Trailer with 5th Wheel Hitch and Base Rails
If you have a set of industry-standard above-bed 5th wheel base rails in your truck you can tow a gooseneck trailer by installing an adapter such as the Curt Spyder # 16085 or the Curt 25k # 16055. All of these 5th wheel rail gooseneck adapters are standardized to fit into any brand of 5th wheel base rails. Note that some of these like the Pro Series have offset ball placement which gives you the option to install the plate with the ball either more forward or more rearward which alters...

  • Recommendation for 2015 Ford F-350 w/ Factory Puck System Towing 5th Wheel and Gooseneck Trailer
Although the Reese Above-Bed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch, # RP58079, will not work with the Reese Elite Series Underbed Rail Adapter, # RP30156, I do have a solution for you. Instead, I recommend going with the Reese Elite Series Under-Bed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Head Kit, # RP30138, in your 2015 Ford F-350 with the factory puck system. This offers a bolt-in, no drill installation which means you won't have to drill into the frame of your truck. Just one hole in the bed for the gooseneck ball...

  • Gooseneck Hitch Adapter Solution for Reese Elite Rail Kit for 2004 Dodge Ram 3500
Not all of the Reese Elite rail kits we offer have the center gooseneck hitch that can be added to them that is also underbed. So for your 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 you can use the Elite rail kit part # RP30074 but to tow a gooseneck hitch you'd have to use the above bed Elite gooseneck hitch adapter # RP30845.

I have included links to the installation details and a video showing an installation of the under-bed kit # RP30868.

  • Can I Put A B&W Turnover Ball In My 2019 F-350 With The Factory Puck System?
No, you would not be able to install an aftermarket gooseneck hitch like the # BWGNRK1108 on a truck that already has the factory puck system. Parts of the puck system would obstruct both the frame brackets and crossmembers of the gooseneck hitch. The puck system would have to be completely removed, which in my opinion is not a logical thing to do and would be way more trouble than it is worth. If the factory puck system has a gooseneck ball spot already you can just drop in the B&W gooseneck...

  • Recommended Puck Adapter for 2015 GMC 2500 with 4-Puck Factory Look System
Based on the year, the system is most likely not a factory system. GMC and Chevy did not have a factory puck system until 2016 and it included the gooseneck puck so there were 5 holes. If you have the 4 pucks it most likely is the Under-Bed Rail and Installation Kit for Reese Elite Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP30868 which is confirmed to fit your truck. I do have a solution for you, however the Reese Under-Bed Rails # RP30073 that you have installed on your truck are not compatible with the Reese Elite Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Head Kit # RP30138 referenced in your question. The gooseneck hitch will not be able to mount between the rails of this system. I instead recommend the Reese Elite Series Above-Bed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # RP30845. The only underbed puck system we offer for the 2019 Ford F-250 is the Reese Underbed Gooseneck Hitch/Puck system, part # RP39FR which includes the gooseneck hitch. I don't know of an add-on underbed gooseneck, but we might have a solution for you. I do have a potential solution for you, but we do not offer any kind of OEM puck system for your truck. There is going to be a way that you can pull a gooseneck trailer with your current setup. If the under bed puck system you have has the pucks spaced like the other Ford OEM pucks, with center to center dimensions of 30 inches across and 13 inches on center front to back, the Reese Elite Series Above-Bed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # RP30845 would mount in your pucks and allow you to pull...

This will give you the same exact hitch as what the Ford rail kit offers at a better price. To add the gooseneck hitch you'd then want the part # RP30845. • Removing Reese Elite Series Above Bed Gooseneck Hitch from Truck Bed After Use
If you are speaking of the Reese Elite Series Above Bed Gooseneck part # RP30845, removal is pretty simple. Remove the locking pin from the anchor handle on each side of the gooseneck hitch. Then, rotate each locking handle to its unlocked position, which would be perpendicular to the hitch itself. Lift one end of the hitch out of the mounts, and then repeat for the other side. Sometimes the locking handles will need to be jiggled a bit to align the anchors with the opening in the mounting...

No adapter will solve this. However, there is still a way to allow you to tow a gooseneck trailer using a 5th wheel rail kit. You have a couple options. • Help Identifying Puck System In A Used Truck
Hey Cameron, that looks an awful lot like an aftermarket puck system made by Reese. You could confirm this by either looking under the truck for some kind of label on the brackets. Or you can measure the distance between the holes. They should be 30" apart across on center and 13" front to back on center (see picture below). If this is correct it means it is a Reese underbed puck system, which has an identical footprint as the Ford OEM puck system. What kind of trailer do you need to pull?...
