2010 Mercury Grand Marquis

The Floor Mats for my 2010 Mercury Grand Marquis look good in the
car after installation. They are heavy gauge rubber and seem to stay
where you put them. Other mats seem to continue to move around and need adjustment. Got the shipment very fast, Ordered Saturday
and got them the following Tuesday.

Great Job

  • Will the Curt Class I Drawbar - 5" Rise Clear My Bumper
In order to confirm fit of the Curt Class I Drawbar part # C45025 on a vehicle with a recessed trailer hitch you just need to measure from the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer edge of the bumper and make sure it's no more than 8". This one has a 5" rise so the distance from the ground to the top inside edge of the trailer hitch will need to be less than 5" from the distance from the ground to the bottom of the coupler on the trailer. The 2" Hitch Ball part # 19258 is compatible...

  • Correct Draw Bar for Curt Class I Receiver C45025 on 2012 VW Golf TDI
The draw bar included with the hitch is part # C45016, which has a 2-5/8 inch rise, or 3-1/4 inch drop. Ideally, you want to tow the trailer so that it is as level as possible, but being within an inch and a half either way is close enough for government work. Keep in mind that hitch is designed to work best with a draw bar with the same drop as the C45016, and using a draw bar with a different rise or drop is not recommended. I will link you to our FAQ article that shows how to correctly...

  • Ball Mount Recommendation for a 2016 Toyota Corolla with Hidden Hitch
When picking out a ball mount for a Class I hitch like the part # 60345 you have to go with the ball mount that is recommended for the hitch. If the one that came with this hitch doesn't have the right rise there's nothing I can safely recommend since Draw Tite states that the use of any other ball mount will void the warranty. You will have to use the part # 3593 that came with the hitch in the rise position. This will give you 2-1/8 inches of rise. For a 2 inch ball you would need the...

  • Availability of a Long 1-1/4 inch Ball Mount
The longest Class I ball mount we offer is the Curt Ball Mount part # C45025 which is 11-6/16 inches long. If you could use a Class II ball mount (also 1-1/4 inch) you could use the Curt Class II Draw Bar part # C45000 that measures 13-1/2 inches from the pin hole to the ball hole.

  • What is the Longest 1-1/4 Hitch Ball Mount You Carry?
Since you mentioned the Draw-Tite Drawbar - 11-3/4" Long # 36063 and it is only compatible with Class II 1-1/4", it sounds like you have a Class II 1-1/4" hitch. If this is the case, we actually have a longer ball mount available. That is the Curt Class II Drawbar # C45000. This mount measures 13-1/2" from center of hitch pin hole to center of ball hole. If you by chance need a Class I 1-1/4" compatible mount, the longest one we carry is the Curt Class I Drawbar # C45025. This mount measures...

The Curt bar # C45028 (5-3/8 inch rise or 6-inch drop) you referenced is one of 3 Curt drawbars we currently offer that will have a 5 inch or more rise in the shank. The reason other shanks may have a different rise is because it may have a different Class rating. I also pulled this drawbar from our warehouse and made a short video and diagram for you. Please note you can only use Class-I rated crossbars because your 1998 Volkswagen Cabrio only works with Class-I hitches. The two other...

  • Ball Mount and Trailer Wiring for a 2016 Toyota Corolla with Hidden Hitch Class I Trailer Hitch
Since you have a Hidden Hitch Class I trailer hitch on your 2016 Toyota Corolla you will need to use a Class I ball mount. Also you have to use the ball mount specified by the hitch manufacturer otherwise it will void the hitch warranty. The correct ball mount for this hitch and vehicle is # 3593 and it must be used in the rise position only. It comes with a hitch pin and clip. For a 1-7/8 inch ball I recommend # 19256 and for a 2 inch I recommend # 19258. And for trailer wiring I recommend...

All hitches offered for your 2002 Volkswagen Passat are of the Class I type and can only be used with compatible Class I accessories. Although the ball mount # C45014 from Curt is also a 1-1/4-inch size it is a Class II ball mount and will not work in your hitch. We do offer two Class I ball mounts with the same 5-inch rise as the part you referenced. These will work in your hitch. • Recommended Ball Mount To Get 6" Of Rise For a 2015 Chrysler 200 Class I, 1-1/4" Receiver
Currently our Curt Drawbar # C45028 has the most rise available for a 1-1/4" Class I receiver like that you would have on your 2015 Chrysler 200. The rise is 5-3/8" from the receiver. To get slightly closer to your 6" rise you can use a Curt Class I Drawbar # C45025 with a Curt RockerBall Shock Absorbing 2" Hitch Ball # C94CR. If you measured a distance of 10 inches from the ground to the top of the inside of the Draw-Tite # 24872 hitch receiver on your 2015 Ford Focus, the Curt Drawbar # C45028 is going to put the ball platform at 15-3/8" above the ground. With the hitch ball actually in place you are looking at a ball height of around 17-3/8", which is still quite below the ideal 22" ball height for the Yakima trailers such as the Rack and Roll # Y08107. Curt states that Drawbar, # C45522, is the ball mount designed for use with Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver, # C11080. Although the Curt Drawbar, # C45025, will most likely fit in your hitch, it was not designed for use with this particular hitch. This is actually a lot easier to determine than you might think. With any Class I or II trailer hitch you will need to use the ball mount recommended in the hitch instructions. The use of any other ball mount can result in voiding the hitch warranty. The reason is that on Class I and II hitches the ball mount recommended has been tested for and approved for use as the best option for those hitch and vehicle combinations. As far as whether or not you can tow a trailer with your 2014 Toyota Prius you will need to check the owners manual or with a Toyota dealer for the final say on that. As long as the tires on your 19" wheels are the same overall height as the factory tires on your Mustang, this measurement will be the same for your vehicle.
