The Michelin Stealth Ultra hybrid-style wiper blade for your vehicle guarantees excellent results when it comes to keeping your windshield clean. It combines the contoured, aerodynamic shape of a beam-style wiper with the flexibility and multiple pressure points of a frame-style wiper to produce a blade that won't miss spots or cause streaking.
The Stealth uses patented SmartFlex frame arms and hinges for superior windshield-cleaning results. The 2 secondary arms flex to allow the blade to conform to the shape of your windshield better than standard frames can. The secondary arms also provide strong lateral support to the wiper. The SmartFlex hinges are designed to work together with the secondary arms, enhancing their ability to hold down the ends of the blade. The secondary arms transfer downward pressure to 4 tertiary arms, resulting in a total of 8 pressure points along the blade for even windshield contact. The SmartFlex system ensures that the blade applies pressure along its entire length, no matter the shape of your windshield or the pressure exerted by your wiper's arms
The Stealth Ultra has a hard cover that prevents the wiper blade from accumulating sleet, snow, and leaves. By resisting buildup - and adding to the overall strength of the blade - the hard cover ensures that the wiper can weather the tough challenges of Mother Nature and consistently keep your windshield clear.
The hard cover's hinges work independently of the hinges in the wiper frame, which allows the blade to flex so that it conforms perfectly to the shape of your windshield. Because the wiper makes consistent contact with your windshield along the length of the blade, it can completely remove sleet, rain, and snow with no missed spots.
The cover has an aerodynamic shape to resist the effects of wind. This ensures that the blade resists being lifted by the wind and maintains even pressure on your windshield at all times.
The natural rubber squeegee is made with proprietary processing techniques to ensure that it outperforms the competition. And the squeegee has a graphite coating to make sure the wiper glides smoothly across your windshield. This graphite coating helps to eliminate skipping, which can leave behind a washboard pattern of water. It also helps keep your wiper quiet so you won't be annoyed by squealing or chattering sounds.
To install the blade, rotate the connector piece on the blade to fit the type of connector that's on your car. (Some wiper arm styles require that you replace the standard connector on the blade with one of the included alternate connectors.) Then clip the wiper blade onto the car's connector. The wiper blade will click into place so that you know it's securely installed.

Hey, everybody welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby and today, we're taking a look at Michelin's Stealth Ultra windshield wiper blades here on our 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Now guys this gonna be a nice little way of going ahead and replacing those older wiper blades that you might have, that they just aren't quite doing the job or leaving streaks or skipping. This can be a nice little replacement for ourselves. Now, the Stealth Ultra, you're getting a couple of nice little features here. One thing I really liked is this hinged kind of plastic top here.
Of course, it's going to protect that inner frame element from getting that kind of debris or weather buildup on the inside, but it's also going to give you a nice little points of contact, so that curve's allowing it to press in here and allowing our frame contacts to also get good coverage across the entirety of our windshield. So, hopefully we're not going to have any kind of skips or bumps in it. Now, there's going to have a nice graphite coated blade as well so it should be holding up quite well for the years to come or the seasons I should say. Of course, windshields wiperblades not lasting all too long for ourselves. So this can be a nice little way of course, just getting on there and having a streak free, clean sweep across your windshield.
So, let's go ahead, take a look, see how haven't get them installed. Now, one thing you'll probably notice is we do have a towel here today. We highly recommend giving kind of like a foam blocker or a towel rolling up, making sure you can't have a nice little padding between yourself and your windshield. This is a metal arm on a spring. You do find yourself slipping.
It can snap down, cracking that windshield, which can be a costly repair for ourselves. So let's be careful, of course. And this might be a little different at home for ourselves to be here today, all we're going to have to do is remove this latch like so. Now, if it gives you a little trouble, can always just use like a flat head. Be careful though, you guys can scrape this metal up.
Not too much paint on there. That's not going to ruin your arm of course, but it can just look a little unsightly. And then we just simply have to slide that J-Style out. You are seeing, we have that J-Style hook. Our older blade can get away. And now we are utilizing our 21 inch blade here on our passenger side and our 22 inch blade to be on our driver's side. Now it is this already gonna have that J-Style adapter already installed for ourselves. So, it makes it really easy for ourselves here on our Jeep Grand Cherokee. Now they do have a couple other adapters. If for some reason, your arm is a little different, but you can just simply slide this guy in like so, it fits right in between those hinges and we just snap it in place like that. You can see that's doing a good job of holding that arm in. Won't be pouncing around or coming out unless we want it to. Now we can go ahead, get it installed on the driver's side and get to wipe it. Here we are in the inside, just going to be simulating a little bit of rain with our wiper fluid, windshield fluid I should say. As you guys can see doing a very good job of cleaning this off, I'm not seeing any streaking, I'm seeing good points of contact across the entirety of it. So no skips. In fact, the only thing I'm seeing is a little bit of a triangle down there, which is pretty common and just a little bit being left behind, and that's just simply because our driver's side is coming behind our passengers. I think if you find yourself in an actual rain storm and they do a great job of keeping up with it, making sure we don't have anything. And of course not impacting my driving, which is excellent. Well, as you guys saw did a very good job of getting entirely conformed to that windshield. Making sure we don't have any streaks or bumps that are coming up, getting all of that rain out of our way. Did an okay job too of scrubbing through it. Now, if you are looking for something that's going to do a little bit better job of puncturing through and cleaning up all those bug guts and you guys can see, especially if you're doing a lot of highway driving, highly recommend looking at the Scrubbed Blade Platinum windshield wiper blades, or even the heavy duty version. Those are going to be a great little option. They give you two blades to scrape through all those bug guts. However, just looking for something to really get you through those seasons and make sure all that rain isn't impacting our driving. I think the Michelin are a great little pickup for ourselves guys. Terrible. Used their page to determine wipers that fit my three vehicles and purchased. Received the wipers in decent ship time. Went to install and wipers did not fit on two of my three vehicles. Due to taking the old wipers off, they clip broke, so I had no choice but to run down to [online] and pay $31ea for wipers that did fit. I consider that very poor service if you recommend wiper blades that don’t fit the vehicle. Cost me additional time, money, and effort.

Well the one the chart said the blades would fit, they DIDNOT. I made that dreaded call. To my delight Anna answered the call. First we talked and took care of the return of the wiper blades that were wrong. Ordered the ones I chose to fit, they did, and got a return label for the first ones. The product is good, but the installation illustrations are poor, if you're a novice. Wiper blades have many different mounting configurations. Personally, I found mounting and unmounting procedures can greatly clarified by referring to your owner's manual, and or surfing the web for wiper videos of your model automobile and wiper model.
