The Michelin Stealth Ultra hybrid-style wiper blade for your vehicle guarantees excellent results when it comes to keeping your windshield clean. It combines the contoured, aerodynamic shape of a beam-style wiper with the flexibility and multiple pressure points of a frame-style wiper to produce a blade that won't miss spots or cause streaking.
The Stealth uses patented SmartFlex frame arms and hinges for superior windshield-cleaning results. The 2 secondary arms flex to allow the blade to conform to the shape of your windshield better than standard frames can. The secondary arms also provide strong lateral support to the wiper. The SmartFlex hinges are designed to work together with the secondary arms, enhancing their ability to hold down the ends of the blade. The secondary arms transfer downward pressure to 4 tertiary arms, resulting in a total of 8 pressure points along the blade for even windshield contact. The SmartFlex system ensures that the blade applies pressure along its entire length, no matter the shape of your windshield or the pressure exerted by your wiper's arms
The Stealth Ultra has a hard cover that prevents the wiper blade from accumulating sleet, snow, and leaves. By resisting buildup - and adding to the overall strength of the blade - the hard cover ensures that the wiper can weather the tough challenges of Mother Nature and consistently keep your windshield clear.
The hard cover's hinges work independently of the hinges in the wiper frame, which allows the blade to flex so that it conforms perfectly to the shape of your windshield. Because the wiper makes consistent contact with your windshield along the length of the blade, it can completely remove sleet, rain, and snow with no missed spots.
The cover has an aerodynamic shape to resist the effects of wind. This ensures that the blade resists being lifted by the wind and maintains even pressure on your windshield at all times.
The natural rubber squeegee is made with proprietary processing techniques to ensure that it outperforms the competition. And the squeegee has a graphite coating to make sure the wiper glides smoothly across your windshield. This graphite coating helps to eliminate skipping, which can leave behind a washboard pattern of water. It also helps keep your wiper quiet so you won't be annoyed by squealing or chattering sounds.
To install the blade, rotate the connector piece on the blade to fit the type of connector that's on your car. (Some wiper arm styles require that you replace the standard connector on the blade with one of the included alternate connectors.) Then clip the wiper blade onto the car's connector. The wiper blade will click into place so that you know it's securely installed.

Hey guys, welcome to etrailer.com I'm Bobby. And today, we're taking a look at the Michelin Stealth Ultra Windshield Wiper Blades on our 2020 Chevy Colorado. Now this can be a really simple way to replace our old wiper blades, but first off let's go ahead and make sure we have a towel or some kind of foam underneath our windshield blades. Now, as we take this off, this is a spring coiled metal flange, so we don't want this popping down doing any kind of damage to our windshield. So let's make sure that we have something protecting us. Now taking a look at the blade itself.
You can see with Michelin, we are getting these hinged flaps in here. So what that's going to be doing a great job of is getting us multiple pressure points on the entirety of the blade. So as we go across, we're getting constant pressure all over it. So, hopefully this is gonna be doing a very good job making sure we're not having any kind of skipping in our blading. So it's going to be doing a good job of getting that rain out of there.
It's going to be pretty durable, as well. You can see, gonna be holding up quite nicely. We also have those internal springs in this hardcover. Actually extra protects the inside from corrosive elements, as well. Especially if we're not getting any kind of winter buildup on there, as well.
So let's go ahead and see how we can actually get this guy installed. Now, this is where things may be a little different at home, depending on what kind of wiper blades you have installed or on there previously. On this guy, there's just a simple little plastic clip that we need to push in before we can actually slide it down. As you can see, it's gonna go ahead and release itself. We want to get that up into its ending position and then to just walk it off like so.
This guy is a little tight on there and that's going to expose that blade and taking a look here, too. Michelin does go ahead and just throw in RJ style adapter as you can see, so we're gonna get that spun around. So we want to find that little hook hole as you can see, that's actually where that J style is going around. Michelin does throw in a different adapter for us, if our blades are a little different. However on our Colorado, we should be having this J hook style. So you want to go ahead and take our blade, inserting it like so, and just going until we hear that click. And now we are ready to pivot and wipe. Let's go ahead and take a look at the passenger side. Now that we're here on the passenger side we're going to go ahead and repeat that process. Again, things might be just a little different at home, but for us, we just have this little clip again. Gonna be a little bit of an awkward position for me. All right, here we go. Get it nice and released, pop that guy out, set him aside, and again, getting the same hinge flange on here. Hopefully going to get us a lot of pressure throughout the entirety of the blade. Inserting like so. You can go ahead and see it's going to click in and we're ready to wipe. Here we are just simulating a little bit of rain and see doing a good job. Not leaving any streaks, good coverage across the entirety of the blade. So you can really see those hinge flanges doing a good job, getting a nice pressure across the entirety of the windshield. Again, I think this is gonna be a great way if you're looking for getting constant pressure on the entirety of the blade. You can see those hinge flanges working really really well, not leaving any streaks, not leaving any openings on the entirety of the blade. So giving us a nice, smooth, clean wipe on our windshield. Both products are great.
I purchased two windshield wiper blades for my Chevy Equinox from etrailer because they had the best price and the items would be shipped quickly. I haven't used these wipers in the rain yet, but they fit well and are of good quality. The help I received at etrailer was excellent . The wiper blades seem great. They were easy to install. It hasn't rained or snowed yet. But they work fine with the windshield washer. I was surprised that they took a week before shipping, but UPS delivered on time, and my old wiper blades were still operational!

Terrible. Used their page to determine wipers that fit my three vehicles and purchased. Received the wipers in decent ship time. Went to install and wipers did not fit on two of my three vehicles. Due to taking the old wipers off, they clip broke, so I had no choice but to run down to [online] and pay $31ea for wipers that did fit. I consider that very poor service if you recommend wiper blades that don’t fit the vehicle. Cost me additional time, money, and effort.
