Seems to keep interior cooler since it blocks the sun from hitting the glass. It will also keep snow and ice off the windshield. Rolls up in fairly thin roll but long and not the easiest to store. Best for longer term vehicle storage. Great product for protection. I love it.
After a year the cover is starting to fall apart.. i thought it would hold up better in the sun..
Jenny N - 02/16/2023This is my second one. My original one lasted over 5 years. Only reason I'm replacing it is because the silver foil is finally starting to flake off the backing material. I hand-stitched the two side "wings" to bring the door tubes in a little and tighten up the fit against my windshield and prevent the wind from getting behind it. Much easier to put the cover on the outside of the windshield instead of the inside because you don't have to remove radar detector mounts, camera mounts, etc...

Well worth the price considering it's lifespan.
See the pictures! It's 7°F right now and we had a heavy snowfall last night. I took these photos about 9:00 AM. I think this shows the ease of using this cover. Note the closeup showing the wipers clear. The vehicle is not ready to move yet. The electric plug hanging from the passenger-side grille is a block-heater which keeps the diesel from gelling in the cold. If I could, I'd be testing the other side of the cover (the one for sun and heat), but I can't do that until summer and that's a long way off.
Trefor - 01/21/2022This was a great investment for my Honda Odyssey ('22) living in the Great Lakes region. It doesn't cover the windshield completely, but leaves about 5" on top exposed. However, I also pull it down far enough to cover my wiper blades and windshield fluid dispenser completely.

Did not fit my Promaster van as advertised that it would. Was not wide enough for flaps to fit in door and was not tall enough to cover the whole windshield.
Heather A - 11/16/2021Durable and works great. Silver side out keeps the car cool in summer. Blue side out protects from snow and ice in winter. The blue material is slippery, like Teflon, so all it takes is a few good shakes to clean off even thick ice. The elastic straps around the mirrors make it easy for one person to put it on, even in heavy wind. Slam the doors onto the wings and it stays put, making it very difficult to steal. I've had two of them for three years, and am about to buy another.
The cover has held up very well both in extreme heat and very cold weather. The ability to secure the cover tightly over the entire windshield means the windshield wipers don't get frozen and scratch the windshield. The sun shield keeps the car reasonably cool on very hot days.

It just arrived today. I knew it would be a little large but so were a lot of others. Our truck is not that wide. I put it on today and I think I can work with it by making adjustments. It looks like a good sturdy cover. I will not have to use it now until snow time so that will tell. In the summer I might reverse it and put in on with the silver side up to reflect the hot sun and protect the dash. I do not have a picture right now.
Eileen - 11/11/2022Windshield cover needs some type of strap or bungee that applies pressure on the top part of windshield when the wind is blowing from the back of truck to the front. With wind the cover opens up about 8 inches on the top. The existing door closing tabs do not hold tight enough with the wind. With wind it’s all most impossible to keep window tabs in place while closing the door with the window up. Remember to close a truck front window you must open the door insert ignition key use electric window switch to close the window. How do you keep cover tabs tight when you close the door with widow closed. Maybe a strap or bungee attached to each side window tab attached from the inside of the truck would hold the cover tight when opening and closing doors in windy conditions. In no wind conditions cover works ok. In Oklahoma wind is normal, Reverseing direction of the truck may only shift the same problem to the bottom side of the cover.
I bought this to replace one I've had for years. It is way better made and should last a lot longer. It is big enough to completely cover the windshield of my RAM 2500. Very easy to put on and take off. If I needed to I'd buy another one but I don't see why I would need to.

I ordered it to fit a 2018 Rx350 Lexus windshield. Our windshields are very large. It said it would fit. Unfortunately it does not :{
I covered my wipers.. but then the top of my windshield was exposed. I will continue to use it because I have it. Its great quality... but to small.
I use the 2-in-1 Exterior Windshield and Wiper Blade Cover on my GMC pickup windshield to block the hot summer sun. Being on the outside of the windshield, it keeps the truck cab cooler than an inside windshield sun screen. It is easy to put on and take off. It fits well and stays in place. I use magnets to help keep it in place in windy weather. The sun does degrade the cover and elastic attachment bands so I replace it every 1 to 2 years. I will continue to use this product.
The elastic band on one side of the cover was sewn to the cover, so it's not usable. But, I waited to open it until it snowed, which was past 60 days. So, now I am left with a defective cover. Waste of money...... Remember when the customer mattered? Not just the sale
Jenny N - 03/04/2023Used it on one road trip in Canada and Alaska to protect the windshield. After our trip we had much gravel to remove from the windshield. I highly recommend this item for a parked car. After our car traveling about 4000 miles with this on it as a Toad, the cover is shot.

Does a great job of keeping frost, ice, and snow off my windshield so I don't have to go in the mornings and scrap windows before I can leave.
It worked so well last night that the expected snow actually stayed offshore and went out to sea off Cape May County, NJ! But truly, the design seems good and we will try it again in advance of the next snow or heavy frost.

Quality and fit seem good. Easy to setup and take down. It’ll get tested in Texas sun and heat this summer.
