This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side interior trim panel in your rear cargo area.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plug on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.
A ModuLite power module is built into this T-One connector. Because most trailers run on a two-wire system - wherein the brake and turn signals are carried on one wire - the separate brake and turn signals from your vehicle's three-wire system need to be combined so they are compatible with the wiring system of your trailer. This power module functions as a tail light converter to combine the brake and turn signal functions of your automobile so that they run on one wire to properly activate your trailer's tail lights. Note: This will not affect how the tail lights on your vehicle operate.
With a ModuLite, your trailer's lights will be powered without overloading your vehicle's electrical system. Because the module draws power directly from your car's battery and bypasses the electrical routes that are used by a basic wiring harness, there is virtually no draw on your tail light circuits.

Powered ModuLite reduces strain on wiring system.It all worked great, your installation videos were what made it possible for me to install the hitch and wire harness on my 2023 Hyundai Tuscon. The hitch fit perfectly the bolt holes lined up. The hitch was flush with the care frame there was not a MM of space between the hitch and car frame (see pic's) Note the hitch shipping box was damaged and had a hole in. But the wire harness did not fall out (see pic's)
Bought this with this the etrailer brand hitch for my 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy. Easy plug and play install. Wiring harness package was missing when the hitch arrived as the box had popped open and it most likely fell out. Customer service had a replacement in the mail the very next day. Thank you!
I am so glad I came upon the Curt trailer hitch receiver. It's exactly what I was looking for because it actually has the crossbar tucked behind the bumper and all you can see is the receiver! And the T-One harness was easy to install and works great.
works as designed if all you need or are going to use is a 4 pin flat connector., just plug and play. However the 2021 Hyundai Palisade is capable and prewired for a 7 pin. etrailer needs to work on an aftermaarket 7 pin similar to the Kia Telluride OEM 7 pin harness. (works for Palisade also}
Jerry - 01/30/2023Harness easy to install actually had alot more wire than needed. I understand Hyundai has now issued a recall related to their factory towing harness, who supplies this harness are they similar or the same supplier.
This was extremely easy to install. The majority of time is spent deciding how you want the wiring ran over to the hitch. Hooked it up to a trailer and all lights functioned correctly.
Easy in installation on 2019 Santa fe.
Suggest you order the 4-pole flat mounting bracket with this if your hitch or bumper doesn't have a good place to attach plug securely.
I ordered it after my wiring kit and had to pay shipping when it wasn't necessary if I ordered with my hitch and wire kit
I purchased this wiring harness and a trailer hitch for my new Tucson. Both installed easily and have performed excellent. E Trailer cannot be beat to deal with.
By following the instructional installation video on the e-trailer website, it was easy to install on my 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe and it works perfectly. I decided to install some fuses between the trailer connector and the module just to be safe.
Wiring harness was a true plug and play. Hitch took a little longer but I think it was due to the access for tightening the bolts to the correct torque.
Hitch fit and looks great. The tips in the install video were spot and a big help.
My only grip is the 2 sided sticky tap to attach the wiring controller to the car body is a joke. I found a place to secure it withe included screw. E-trailer should redo their install video to show where to install with screw

Worked well. Removed the factory plug and installed the wiring kit. Attatched a few zip strips and the installation was complete.

Almost 2 years in and still good! Fits my 2021 Kia Telluride perfectly, I've hauled a couple pop up campers and use a hitch rack loaded with coolers all the time and haven't had any hint of an issue yet!
It plugged right in and works as it should. Even has hanging equipment with it. I'd expect nothing less from etrailer.

Quick shipping. Packaged well. Clear instructions. Fit my 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe without any problems. Everything needed was included. If you think it will be exposed to moisture and/or get wet, then use some dielectric grease before connecting into the cars wiring.
Super easy to install in my 2023 Santa Cruz. Pop off the little panel behind the drivers side wheel and the plug is right there.
Product seems good. Packaging was terrible, the part was just put in the big box with the hitch. How it didn't get damaged is nothing short of a miracle. I oreded 3 parts with t he hitch and 1 was lost during shipping. I told the seller and I was insulted by them. I believe I know how to look in a box and find the parts inside. Maybe the small bracket went out one od the two hand holes or t he gaping hole the hitch made in the box. Packaging was sad. A hitch in a cardboard box with no enter packing, then my 3 other parts threw in the box separately. They already have my money, they don't care what damage is done in shipping. Most are not going to send it back because some of the paint was rubbed off.

I contacted eTrailer when I didn't get delivery inside the 2 day window that I paid for and they responded immediately correcting the billing. Also the packaging used by eTrailer was superior to other providers I had received trailer hitches and products from in the past.
