Specs:
Just like the rear of your vehicle will sag under the weight of a fully loaded bed, the front of your vehicle will sag when under the burden of heavy equipment such as a snowplow. In this case, the front axle is handling not only the weight of the equipment, but also more of the vehicle's weight. Overall vehicle handling - traction, steering, and braking - is negatively affected. But the resistance from Timbren's Suspension Enhancement System works with your factory suspension to keep your vehicle level and improve your driving experience.
The Timbren system comes with custom-fit brackets that are bolted onto each frame rail above your front axle. Hollow rubber springs are bolted to the bottom of the bracket and hang down so that the bottom of each spring touches the axle. Because each spring is making constant contact with the axle, it is always working to cushion and support your factory suspension.
Timbren Suspension Enhancement Systems are designed to work progressively. When the hollow rubber springs are compressed, the convoluted design causes them to quickly collapse along the folds. Once the folds are compacted, the stacked barrel shape increases resistance, stiffening the suspension and keeping your vehicle level.
Each hollow rubber spring works independently to support the driver's-side or passenger's-side of your vehicle. This is helpful when you swerve or make sharp turns. Each spring is activated when it is needed, so body roll is greatly reduced. The independent action also works well when you're carrying off-center loads.
Timbren's Suspension Enhancement System will help raise the front end of your vehicle when you're using heavy equipment like a snowplow. This ensures that your headlight beams will be pointed in the right direction and tire wear will be reduced. If the plow is off-center or has an extension, the springs will automatically compensate for this as well.
Another great feature of the rubber construction is that the springs absorb most of the road shock, creating a smoother, more stable ride overall. Wear and tear on the factory suspension is also lessened because the rubber springs work to prevent bottoming out on rough roads.
Timbren's Suspension Enhancement Systems are much easier to install than air springs - there are no air hoses to run, no compressors or gauges to hook up, and no manual adjustments to make. The rubber construction makes Timbren's springs more elastic than similar products constructed of microcellular urethane. More elasticity allows for a more comfortable ride because the rubber has more travel.

They also provide a more comfortable ride by absorbing road shock and improving roll stability. Easy to install and use.I installed Timbren on front and rear of Georgetown motorhome. The install was easy and the improvement in overall handling was noticeable. No more bottoming out on bad roads, and a reduction in sway or lean in and out of turns. Worth the money, especially in conjunction with my other bolt on upgrades. Safety steer, Rear sway bar, and Rear trac bar
Delivery was extremely slow and got the items late and the box came ripped up and all hardware was lost in shipping! I waited 4 days for the item and called them and they sent out all new hardware and had to wait another 5 days for the hardware. They really messed up my coming trip with my motorhome, I would not recommend this company to anyone, honestly the lousiest service you can get from a company! I do belong to several RV groups, I’ll let them know about the bad handling of my problem.
installed Timbren front springs because of negetive reports on forums re Ford F53 handling. Also installed HD front and rear sway bars plus safety steer system. RV has been in storage many winter months and I am ready to drive unit again.
Too early to give a ride review but I received the TFFF53B fronts and the TFRF53A rears for my 2019 Fleetwood Southwind 35K while at a campground this week. Easy enough to change out while there. It is about.a 2 hour job to change out all 4. The front right took me the longest and you have to reuse the existing bolt. A washer should be provided because the hole in the bracket is almost as large as the bolt head. I will be placing a large flat washer there. The rears took less time to change.. I used the first and third slots in the mounting brackets and they actually put the unit more over the center of the axle than the original bump stops. Same was true in the front. No clearance issue or interference with my trac bar.
Best investment for suspension so far!! Had wind, semi’s and large dips in road sway our 2015 Bounder all over the road. With the timbrens installed took care of almost all of that! Big dips, Bounce one time, done. Semi’s pass no issue, Wyoming winds cuts right through!
Hello,
To follow up on my purchase of my TIMBREN, I am not satisfied. I find that it gives a suspension too hard and feel all the imperfections of the road. I just had them installed. I prefer the SUMOSPRING that I had on my other RV.
I would like to know if it is possible to return them and exchange them for SUMOSPRING knowing that I have a MIRAMAR 33.5, 2016.
Thank you for following up with me as soon as possible.
My new Coachmen Encore 325SS was difficult to drive. It was hard to keep in its lane and wind was a serious problem. The Timbren suspension enhancement made the coach much more stable and easier to drive. Wind and/or semi trucks no longer affect it. I am very happy with this product.
I purchased both the front and rear Timbren suspension enhancements. They actually work as intended. With Fords complete lack of suspension these pieces were noticeable just leaving my driveway. They don't get rid of the sway, but they reduce it by about 75%. So far the best mod on my class A.
Got them this morning and installed front ones. No problems what so ever.
Will install rear ones tomorrow. I did not give it 5 stars because there were 3 flat washers missing from rear kit. I have some so it was not a problem. However, I think quality control even down to the hardware kits should be better.
Easy installation thanks to the excellent video instructions.
I ordered these timbren suspension parts on Tuesday they was on my front door Wednesday I could not believe how fast they arrived Mrs. Helen sent these right to me I think I am 250 miles away I put them on helping with the swaying on my29m Thor etrailer is great to do business with thank you Roger
Well I was really happy that their sales technician Sherry S. Help package all the required other parts to complete the 4 x4 flat tow job.
Arrived quick and in good shape. Easy to install.
I would have given 5 stars, but it is difficult to get a socket on the frame/ to bracket mounting bolt. I would suggest a cutout/ scallop on the mounting bracket to facilitate installation. Now for the road test.
Great product, great company, great customer service! I will only ever deal with etrailer from now on! Customer for life.
Fit to the factory frame with no drulling just as advertised. Definitely made huge difference in front sway and handling.
Timbren made a believer out of me when I added them to my coach it took out the harsh ride on the front end and lessened the impact of the expansion joints in the pavement
The only complaint I have is on the Post Office for Not delivering For 5 days
So happy with this product. I had my RV mechanic do the installation and he was as impressed and I was with the product its3lf and the ease of installation. Driving home, I immediately felt the difference, much less sway in my unit under windy conditions. Would definitely recommend to any motor home owner.
I wanted to wait until I had the opportunity to try my new Timbren suspension addition before writing a review. I am happy to report that they dramatically improved the tendency of my coach to sway uncomfortably when being overtaken by 18 wheelers. The ride is still comfortable but the handling much improved.
great service needed these parts for a road trip and you got it done
Absolutely excellent customer service as always from etrailer!! Haven't installed yet but will give an update after a cross country trip with these on my 35' class A.
I have the front and rear Timbren suspension and they work GREAT. All class A RV's should have these on to greatly lessen the sway of the RV. Even drives better and is less affected by wind and passing tractor trailers. Great procuct.
Great no sway easier to handle the service was great thankyou
Great service and very fast delivery. It took about 20 minutes to install. The video help in gathering all the right tools one time. Getting ready for a road trip and we will see what improvements it does. The stops rest on the spring so it should take the sway out. I did notice when someone was walking on the floor that the stops did have some give in them. Thanks Korren for great service that you provide.
