Speaker 1: Today on our 2011 Ford Fusion we're going to be test fitting the Yakima HangOut 2 bike rack for your trunk mounts, part number Y02637. We have a bike installed on the rack. Let's take a closer look and show off some features. Starting with the arms here, the cradles are adjustable back and forth and side to side. The anti-sway cradle does fold up and out of the way to make loading and unloading bikes much easier. It will grip your bike at three points.

Speaker 1: Today on our 2011 Ford Fusion, we're gonna be test fitting the Yakama FullBack Two Bike Rack for trunk mounts, part number Y02634. We already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's take a closer look and show off some features here. Starting at the ends of the arms here, on the one end, we will have the bottle opener which is pretty standard for most Yakama bike racks. On the other end here, we'll have an integrated cable lock which you pull out, wrap around the front most bike, and then attach it to this point here, and lock it into place. Therefore, both of your bikes are gonna be secured to the rack once they're installed.The cradles are stationary but they do have this super cush material, the frame of your bike is gonna be resting on so to ensure that there's not gonna be any scratch to your frame once it's being installed.

Speaker 1: Today on our 2011 Ford Fusion, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima HalfBack 2 Bike Rack for Trunk Mounts, part number Y02636. We already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's go ahead and show off some of the features here.Starting at the ends of the arms, we're going to have the patented Yakima bottle openers on either end. The cradles themselves are stationary, but they do have this SuperCush material to help protect your bike's frame once it's being installed, and make sure that it doesn't get any scratches on it once you're installing it and transporting it.These do also have anti-sway cradles back here, which you can push up out of the way while loading and unloading, which is going to make it 10 times easier as opposed to having to shuffle the bike back and forth to get it into place. It does grip your bike by three points. We'll have two ZipStrips up at the top of the frame, and then one off to the side, which again is that anti-sway cradle to help keep the bike from moving too far back and forth and causing bike-to-bike contact.Let's go ahead and take the bike off.

Rola Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2011 Ford Fusion

Today on this 2011 Ford Fusion we're going to be test fitting the Rola TX 1022 bike rack, part number 59400. We already have a bike attached to the rack. Let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. How the bike actually attaches to the rack we're going to have 3 points of contact with the bike's frame. We're going to have 2 straps up at the top here and 1 off to the side. That's going to serve as an anti-sway strap to keep the bike from moving too far back and forth possibly hitting the bike rack or the bikes in front of it. We also have an integrated cable lock here in the center of the mast. You pull that out, wrap it around the bikes and attach it to this end point here for additional security. Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside.



Surco Products Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2011 Ford Fusion

Today, on this 2011 Ford Fusion, we're going to be test fitting the Surco Cargo Carrier, part number 52017. This cargo carrier has a carrying capacity of 300 pounds. It has this mesh floor, which makes it easy to clean, and around the borders of the cargo carrier, we have this rail which can be used as a tie in point for either your ratchet straps or your bungee cords. I'm going to go ahead and you give you some measurements. Measuring from the bumper to this rail here, we've added about 23 inches to the rear of the vehicle. For our ground clearance, we're at about 11 inches. For our closest point, which is this edge here, we're at about a quarter of an inch from the vehicle. Now, the exhaust of this vehicle's going to be on the passenger's side and it is close to the cargo carrier so you do want to be carrier whenever you're loading any heat sensitive material to make sure to keep it on the driver's side. We have total access to the trunk with the cargo carrier installed.



Thule Raceway Platform Trunk Bike Rack Review - 2011 Ford Fusion

Today, on our 2011 Ford Fusion, we'll be test-fitting the Thule Raceway Platform Style 2-Bike Carrier, part number TH9003. Now, to begin our test-fit, we've already gone ahead and set the bike rack up according to the guide found within the instructions of the Raceway. We'll place it on top of our deck lid and take the two top hooks and hook it to the deck lid just behind the rear window. We'll then snug the cables down using the grey knobs on either side. We can then take the bottom cables and hook it to the deck lid just above the rear bumper cover and again snug them down with the grey knobs. Once we have all four cables in place and snug, we can go ahead and tighten it down securing the bike rack to the vehicle.

To begin, we've already set up our bike rack according to the guide found within the instructions of the Raceway. We'll place it on top of our deck lid. We'll take the two top straps and hook them to the deck lid just behind the rear window. We'll then snug them down. With the two top straps in, we'll move to the two bottom straps where we'll hook them to the deck lid just above the rear bumper cover.



Thule Gateway Trunk Mount Bike Rack Review - 2011 Ford Fusion

Today, on our 2011 Ford Fusion, we'll be test-fitting the Thule Gateway 2-Bike Carrier, part number TH9006XT. To begin our test-fit we've already gone ahead and set our bike rack up according to the guide found within the instructions of the Gateway. We'll place it on top of our deck lid and take the nylon straps and hook them to the deck lid just behind the rear window. We'll then just snug them down to hold the bike rack in place. We can then take the side and bottom strap and hook it to the side of the deck lid as well as the bottom just above the rear bumper. We'll do that on both sides, but we'll go ahead and snug them down as well.



Rain-X Fusion Wiper Blades Installation - 2011 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2011 Ford Fusion well be test fitting the Rain-X Fusion windshield wiper blades using part numbers RX880004 in the 19 inch length as well as part number TX880008 in the 24 inch length. To begin our test fit we need to remove the old wiper blades from the wiper arms. To do this well bring the wiper arm up where we can then push the little tab inside the J hook on the wiper arm and slide that blade toward the windshield. We can then remove it from the wiper arm where we will then set the arm down against the windshield. Well repeat this process for the passengers side. Now here on the drivers side well take the 24 inch blade where well lift up on the tab.



Trailer Hitch Installation - 2011 Ford Fusion - Curt

Today on our 2011 Ford Fusion well be installing the Curt Hitch part number 11390. This is what our hitch will look like once its installed. Next, well go ahead and give you a couple of measurements to assist you with selecting accessories for your new hitch. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer most edge of the bumper is 5-1/4 inches. From the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 11-3/4 inches. This will assist you with selecting accessories such as a drawbar, a bike rack or a cargo carrier.



WeatherTech Rear Floor Liner Review - 2011 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2011 Ford Fusion, we'll be test fitting the WeatherTech Floor Liner in the second row, part number WT441082. First, we'll go ahead and remove the older manufacturer's floor mats and now we're ready to install the WeatherTech floor liner. WeatherTech floor liners are custom mold to precisely fit the vehicle and stay in place. The shape, channels and moldings all work to keep dirt and debris contained in the liner and off of the carpeting. It is custom molded to go around the seat belt post. It has raised outer edge with center hump protection that really offers maximum protection, keeping the dirt and debris contained in the liner and away from the carpeting.



Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2011 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2011 Ford Fusion, well be installing the Tow-Ready T1 connector part number 118422. First were going to open up the rear cargo door then were going to remove the spare tire cover. This will allow us access to all the fasteners that will need to be removed to remove the rear threshold. Lets go ahead and remove those fasteners now. Now with all our fasteners removed, well gently pull up on the rear threshold and pop it free as there are four remaining fasteners attached to the body. After we go ahead and remove the threshold, well go ahead and show you those fasteners.



Trailer Hitch Installation - 2011 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2011 Ford Fusion, we'll be installing Draw-Tite Hitch, part number 24865. Here are a couple of measurements to assist you in selecting accessories for your new hitch such as bike rack or cargo carrier. From the center of hitch pinhole to the outermost part of the bumper is 5 inches and from the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 11-1/2 inches. And now let's go on with the install. We'll begin the installation by removing the exhaust hangers in these three locations, two just behind the rear mufflers and one right at the Y intersection. It would be a good idea before we remove the exhaust hangers to spray them with some lubricant.



Swagman Titan Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2011 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2011 Ford Fusion, well be test fitting the Swagman Titan 4 Bike Carrier, part number S63410. Quick note about this bike rack, it can be used within an 1 inch or 2 inch hitches, although when using the class 1 hitch, you are limited to 2 bikes. Well begin by simply inserting the bike rack shank into the hitch. Well line up the hitch pinhole and install our anti-rattle bolt. Well then tighten it down using our wrench. With our anti-rattle bolt tight, well simply side our safety pin over the other side of the anti-rattle bolt and that will secure the bike rack to the vehicle.



SportRack EZ Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2011 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2011 Ford Fusion, well be testing the Sport Rack 2 Wheel Mount Bike Rack, part number A30901. Quick note about this bike rack, you are able to use it on both 1 inch and 2-inch hitches. With this application, our vehicle is set up with an 1 inch hitch and our bike rack is already pre-assembled, so were ready to go ahead and fit it to the vehicle. Well begin by inserting the bike rack shank into the hitch. Well line up the hitch pinhole and insert our anti-rattle bolt. With our anti-rattle bolt in, well tighten it down using a wrench and that will secure it to the vehicle.
