Mount: CIPA EVO Formance Spectras H7 Halogen Headlight Bulbs on a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta- Video
Today on our 2013 Volkswagen Jetta, we're gonna take a look at it and show how to install the EVO Formance Spectras H7 Halogen Headlight Bulbs. Now as you can see between our factory style light and our new Spectra light, we have a world of difference. This is gonna be a much cleaner, brighter light than what we're getting out of our standard yellow light and by looking at the front of the car, it gives it a nice updated look rather than the yellowish light that we're kind of used to seeing this other side. It makes the car look maybe a little bit newer or fresher. Now one thing I'd like you to make note of, the outer light that we replaced, that the low beam light. Putco PURE Halogen Headlight Bulbs Installation - 2005 Volkswagen Jetta New Body- Video
Today on our 2005 Volkswagen Jetta new body style we'll be installing the Putco PURE High Performance H7 halogen light bulb part number P230007SW. First we'll go ahead and show you the old or manufacturer's bulb. Now we'll go ahead and replace the manufacturer's bulb on the passenger side. To do this we'll open up the hood, then remove the rear headlight cover by turning it, unlocking it and setting it aside. Then we'll grab the bulb socket, twist it to unlock and remove the socket and bulb. Now we can go ahead and remove the bulb from the socket, install the new Putco PURE High Performance headlight and then reinstall the socket into the headlight assembly. Once we have the socket locked back into position we'll go ahead and reinstall the cover and lock it back into place. Now we can close the hood and we can go ahead and compare the two bulbs. We'll have the new Putco PURE High Performance bulb on the passenger side and the old or manufacturer's bulb on the driver side. As you can see our new PURE High Performance bulb easily replaces the factory headlight bulb. Now, to match the passenger side we're going to go ahead and we're going to do the same process on the driver side. more
