Superwinch Terra Series ATV Winch Installation - 2016 Polaris Ranger

Speaker 1: Today on our 2016 Polaris Ranger, we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the Super Wench Terra Series ATV wench. This has a wire rope with the rower fairly in the 4,500 pound capacity. Part number is SW1145220. To help out with the install, we're going to use the Super Wench Custom Fit UTV mounting kit, part number 2202915.Now the Terra wenches from Super Wench really stand out and above other wenches in the UTV and ATV class just because of how much work they get done with very little draw from the system. It has a 1.6 horsepower permanent magnet motor in there that's really dependable, really reliable, and it's going to allow us to do more work again using less power. As it comes in and out, you'll see our quarter inch cable, which is 55 foot long, for just reference, is going to roll over our stainless steel fair lead rollers here protecting it from scraping or scratching no matter what angle me we might be pulling at. On the end we're going to have a lever, or a little turn knob that allows us to go in free spool mode, so that's going to allow us to quickly draw out our wench cable. more

CTEK Battery-Health Indicator Installation - 2014 Polaris Ranger

Speaker: Today in this 2014 Polaris Ranger Crew 570 we're going to install part number CTEK56380. This is a CTEK Battery Health Indicator Cable with Panel Box for 12-volt Comfort Connect Chargers. First, you need to find a location for our indicator box. This is up to personal preference in this case we'll go by the backseat of the UTV and on a piece of plastic panel, a little bit out of the way we'll go ahead and install it. Now to install it the instructions come with a little template used for our holes. In this case we're going to use a piece of tape to help hold it in place and then we'll go ahead and use a 1/8ths inch length drill bit and drill out the centers of our holes. Then we'll go back at with a 3/8ths inch drill bit. Then using a knife and a rotary tool we'll go ahead and make out the final rectangle form. We started off a little under-size. more
