Hello, neighbor, this is Curt with etrailer. And today we're gonna take a look at the Thule TracRac SR on our 2025 Chevy Silverado 2500. Now if you've had any experience with a rack like this or with this rack particular, go ahead and leave those in the comments below. We love to take your stories and your questions and share those with other neighbors to help them make the best decision for themselves. Now this particular ladder rack, while it can be used for sports and recreation, is definitely intended to be used on a work truck. With the cantilever extension, as you can see, we've got a pretty good sized ladder up here. more

If you have a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado and you're looking for a way to transport those longer items, anything like ladders or lumber, but at a more affordable price point, than the etrailer truck rack is gonna be a great option for you. So let's check it out. What I really like about a ladder rack is is it gonna offer you a lot more opportunities when you're trying to load your gear on your vehicle. So what I mean specifically for a truck is yes, you do have a lot of space in your bed, but what's gonna happen a lot of times is if you have anything that's extra long, like lumber, ladders or even a kayak, it's gonna stick out from the back of your bed, especially with the one we have today, this is gonna be a five and a half foot bed. So most items won't fit in here, super neat. more

Now we have a pretty large bed back here so you can already fit a lot, but if you have anything that's extra long, anything like lumber, ladders or even a kayak, this is gonna be perfect for those situations. And while you can fit a lot back here, it's nice that we can pretty much double what we can carry now since we have a second level. How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Thule TracRac TracOne Ladder Rack on our 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. Adding a ladder rack to the back of your vehicle helps solve the issue of increasing your cargo space but not taking up all the room in your bed. So it takes advantage of that negative space above your bed and cab. So you can get those longer items like lumber, PVC pipe or ladders on the road with you or even out for fun times you can get your kayaks, your bicycles and basically any rooftop accessory. Starting at the top of our track rack system you're gonna have load stops that are gonna be adjustable, that you can use as tie downs, as well as ways to, you know, keep things from shifting as you're going on the road. How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Yakima Overhaul HD Ladder Rack on our 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. So we're gonna take a look at the Overhaul HD on the back of the Silverado. As you can see with this configuration, I have it with the 68-inch bars that basically have no hangover to the side of the bed, but still maintain these tie-down points. Your adjustability with the Overhaul is going to allow you to go between 18 and 30 inches above the rails on the bed. So that's gonna give you plenty adjustability for things underneath the bars themselves to take advantage of the bed. Having a roof rack system in general is gonna allow you to get these items like the Yakima SkinnyWarrior out on the road with you. more

So the rack itself is constructed of aircraft-grade aluminum, and it's powder coated, that's gonna hold up against the elements and protects you against corrosion. As far as the capacity, it's a whopping 800 pounds, so that's a lotta weight that you can put on the track rack system. You have included load stops, that are adjustable, to slide over to lock down your loads. And also, something I thought was cool about their load stops, at the very top, you have a tie-down point. The bar itself is 65 inches across, it's four inches wide and an inch and a half thick. more

A ladder rack is gonna be great for the Silverado, because they're really gonna help you maximize the amount of space you can use in your bed. What the Malone is gonna help you offer to is plenty of additional mounting points on the legs and on top of our T-track on our crossbars. And it's gonna have the ability to hold up to 800 pounds, which is a lot more than some of our other ladder racks we have here. Our system's gonna be comprised of three parts. The BedRock's gonna be a good choice for you if you don't want to get a roof rack since that's gonna be up front on the top of your vehicle and it's not gonna be able to carry as much stuff since it has a lower weight capacity. And it's gonna be a great choice if you don't want to invest in a ladder rack since this is gonna be at a lower price point than a ladder rack. And it's gonna sit a little bit closer to your vehicle so it's not gonna take up as much room but you're still gonna be able to utilize the maximum amount of space for your bed. The system's gonna be comprised of three pieces so we're gonna have our HD crossbars up top. more

Obviously as you can see, if we we're to try to put that in the bed, it wouldn't fit completely. One thing that Yakima wins overall when it comes to ladder racks are the bar sizes. So with these we can use a bunch of different types of accessories and they work because these cross bars aren't that big. The Thule options, sometimes those bars get a little too big so you wrap around or your clamp on accessories don't really wanna work. But any type of wraparound accessory like this with the steel bands that are coated in rubber will work. And then over here with our tent the clamp on style also works. more

Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima OverHaul HD adjustable truck bed ladder rack system here on our 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 3500. Now, what makes this unique is that this ladder rack is designed to be used in tandem with select tonneau covers. We've got ours working with our RetraxPro XR hard tonneau cover here today. Today we are enabling our 2013 Chevrolet Silverado to do a little bit more with the Malone TradeSport ladder rack. The truck bed ladder rack being in the bed of the truck makes it super easy to tie your stuff down. Whenever I'm tying kayaks down up on my roof and I'm standing on the ground, it's a little difficult. With this, you're right up close and personal. So you can be extra confident that it's not gonna go anywhere. Also, with our ladders, we're gonna have some ladder load stops right here, which this can be used with a ladder, could be used for your lumber, your pipe, whatever you really need to bring to that job site. more

Today I brought my 2012 Chevy Silverado 2500. And we're gonna be taking a look at the Thule Xsporter Pro ladder rack. For those longer awkward loads, the ladder rack is gonna be a great thing for your truck but it seems like it's specific just to ladders. No, you can put pipes up there, bunch of lumber. You could also do sports and rack stuff. You could put a tent up there, some kayaks, some bikes. more

Hi there Chevy owners, Today in your 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Thule's Xsporter Mid Overland. And this is what Thule's Xsporter looks like on our truck here. We can see that it does have feet that clamps onto our rails, they're nice and robust looking and it has thin streamlined bars, that should be very aerodynamic, yet very strong. These are really designed for recreational activities. So whether you're gonna be putting on bike rack, or cargo carriers, or tents are real popular on these. And that's why we have that all that support here so that we could put a tent on this and get ourselves up in the air off the ground and sleep overnight. more

Setting up the Thule TracRac TracONE Truck Bed Ladder Rack on a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500- Video
Adam: What's going on everybody Adam, here with etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Thule TracRac TracOne ladder rack on our 2020 Chevrolet Silverado. So this ladder rack system is going to be a no drill install. So really all we need is an Allen tool to adjust everything and get it nice and secured to the bed of our truck. The nice thing about it is we're going to have a lot of adjustments to be able to fit whatever size bed that you guys have, but we are going to get a nice fitment as well. This is the black color, but we also have a silver one as well. more

Adam: What's going on everybody, Adam here with etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Yakima Overhaul HD adjustable ladder rack on a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado. As you guys can see here, we have one at the lowest setting and one at the highest setting. The highest settings is going to be about 30 inches off the rails of the bed of your truck. And the lowest setting is going to be about 19 inches from this point all the way to the top of the bar. The bars we have here are the HD Bars, so they are relatively thick. more

So if you guys are looking to maximize the capacity of your bed, the HD bars are going to be able to do that. This, in my opinion, is one of my favorite products for trucks, just because I like to be able to maximize what my truck can do. With this, we're going to have a capacity of about 300 pounds that we can go ahead and load up a bunch of different stuff, whether it's just a cargo basket, even a platform tray, we can go ahead and put some bikes on here. We can go ahead and put some kayak carriers, canoe carriers, rod carriers, literally, the possibilities are endless. more
