Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Complete Installation - 2024 Honda Odyssey- Video
Hi, this is Scott with etrailer, and today we're gonna take a look at and install our Curt Class Three Hitch on our 2024 Honda Odyssey. Our Curt hitch on our Honda Odyssey is gonna have a really nice powder coat gloss finish on it. It's going to be a cross tube design that you're gonna be able to see, so all of the exposed cross tube you can see from behind. The nice thing about it is everything's tucked underneath. Even this portion of your receiver is not gonna be in the way when you're walking by, like say the back of your car. You're not gonna be hitting your shin or your knee on it, so it is tucked in really nice on this one. more

Now, you may be asking yourself, "Why would I want to change from the original incandescent bulb over to an LED" Well, we've gone ahead and installed the passenger side with an LED already. And comparing between the two, you could already see how much brighter and clearer of a vision this is going to give you on the road versus the incandescent bulb. The incandescent bulb looks a little more yellowed, a little more faded. It doesn't really give you that big line of vision that you'll get out of an LED bulb. more

If you're looking for a really good heavy duty hitch for your CRV, this Blue Ox hitch is really gonna be a good option for you. This one is set up really strong. It is gonna have somewhat of an exposed tube design, but it is built really well, and it does have really good welds. It is gonna have your built-in mount here, (hand tapping) which I really like. So if you're doing any kind of trailer pulling at all with yours, this is gonna be a great option because you have your tab already welded on here, and that's gonna allow you to have a place to mount on, the place where you plug in your wiring that goes to your trailer. more

Now our cargo area protector is not only gonna cover the bottom floor area where a lot of mats do. A lot of us take our pets with us and you know if you do your pets typically wanna climb up on the seat, see what you're doing, which causes a lot of hair to get caught on the back of the seat. Hey everybody, it's Rob here at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Etrailer Cargo Area Protector on our 2017 Honda CR-V. Now, most of us do have floor mats, so we can protect the floor in our CRV, and some of us do have cargo area protectors. But what really makes this one stand out is that it's a three-piece design. So not only is it gonna keep the floor protected, but it's also gonna protect the back of our seats, 'cause let's face it, behind there is just more carpet. So if we have a lot of gear back here, maybe it's messy, or maybe we even have pets back here, if the back seat isn't protected, we're gonna have to spend a whole lot of time cleaning that carpet and probably not have to worry about the floor. more

Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch DIY Installation - 2024 Honda CR-V- Video
Hi, this is Scott with etrailer and today we're gonna be taking a look at our Draw-Tite hitch for our 2024 Honda CR-V. The Draw-Tite hitch for our CR-V here is gonna come in like a gloss black. It's gonna be one of the ones where you're gonna kind of see the tube a little bit here, so it is gonna be an option that if you're gonna be pulling the trailer or something, it is a good option for that because it does have a tab here where you can mount your trailer wiring here. If it was me and I was going for more of a recreational type option as far as like bikes, you know, carrying a bike carrier or a cargo rack or something like that, I would probably look at the etrailer option, that one's gonna be more of a hidden tube design and that's gonna tuck up behind your bumper and it's just gonna come out right here. What that'll do for you is it's gonna give you the same type of options that you can pull stuff with or even just like hauling a bike rack or a cargo carrier, but it's gonna be a little more hidden and it's also gonna be a flat black. So I think that it would probably match a little bit better with the bumper on this one. more

Hi, Bruce with Etrailer. Today we're gonna take a look at and install an EcoHitch on our 2022 Honda HR-V. Our EcoHitch does have a two by two inch receiver tube on it, which is very nice, and it does have a black powder coat finish. And we do need to get a pin for your shank, 'cause it does not come with one. And it does have some nice safety chain loops here. It will fit both styles of safety chain hooks. more

Hi, this is Bruce with etrailer. Today we're gonna be looking at and installing a CURT custom wiring kit on our 2022 Honda HR-V. Now this CURT custom wiring kit is a fairly easy install. It's not hard to do, there's no splicing of any wires. The hardest part you'll have to do is actually run a power wire from the back of the vehicle all the way up to the battery to get your power for the module. Other than that, it's a very easy install. more

Hi, Jesse with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and installing the EcoHitch on our 2021 Honda Clarity. Adding a hitch to a vehicle like this Clarity makes a lot of sense. Our neighbor today, he's planning on putting a bike rack on the back just because they won't fit very easily in the back of his car. It's gonna make it a lot easier for him. As for looks on this hitch, as you can see, the cross beams are completely hidden. more

Installing the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter Trailer Connector on a 2021 Honda Clarity- Video
Hi, Jesse here with etrailer, today we'll be taking a look and I'll be showing you how to install the CURT Universal Wiring Kit on this 2021 Honda Clarity. The main reason you would add a wiring kit to a car like this would be to send signals to other drivers to let them know when you're turning or stopping, whether it be with a light-duty trailer or in the case of our neighbor here, he's planning on installing a bike rack that actually has lights built into it. So in order to do that, he needs a four-pole wiring to plug into the bike rack. You may see that we have ours just coming out of the trunk hanging here. There are options to install brackets, but our customer's not planning on using the wiring at all times, so it's easy enough to just unhook it here and leave it stored in the trunk. As you see here, it's just your standard four-pole, it's got this dust cap on it. more

A Closer Look at the Benton Shifts&Grins Bike Rack on a 2021 Honda CR-V- Video
Hi, Jesse with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Benton Shifts&Grins Two-Bike Bike Rack, and we'll see how it fits on our 2021 Honda CR-V. This is gonna be a platform-style bike rack, which just means that it's going to hold the bike standing upright by the tires. Here's the tire mount here. You can also use this, push this back and mount it on the frame. One advantage of being able to mount on the wheel here is maybe you got a new bike or a nice paint job on your bike or even a carbon frame, something like that, you don't have to worry about getting scratches, having that mount rubbing against it. more

This is Scott with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at our Draw-Tite 1 1/4 inch hitch for our 2023 Honda Accord. Let's go ahead and take a look at our install and specifications. With this being 1 1/4 inch receiver, it is gonna be primarily for your lighter bike racks or your cargo carriers. With that in mind, it is gonna be a capacity of 200 pounds, and that's weighing down on the receiver. It's not gonna really be for your any of your heavy towing, or towing, or anything like that. more
